F-14A/B at 11.7/12.0 is too OP

I’m not sure if you are joking, or just coping very hard?

Faster (IIRC), better dogfight performance, R-60M is on par with AIM-9L and better than AIM-9H, radar is worse, Phoenixes are ARH versus R-27Rs.

Im kinda tired of people acting like the F-14s will be playable at top tier lmao. Its ridiculous.

Btw, near to same, not a lot of difference

21 might be better in 1C, but in 2C tomcat superior

It was playable, when 29SMT was added.
After Su-27 addition - nothing you can do, worser in most of parameters

good one brother. mind posting your stat card?

Only if the MiG-21 pilot is bad enough to allow the tomcat to force a 2 circle.

Meh, tomcat has better dogfight performance than MiG-29s and Su-27s, but the radar is worse and the missiles dont even really compare to other FOX-3s.

Public info. look it up yourself.

So, regular MiG pilot

Main trouble in that it pretty near to Su-27, but 27 have R-73, which matters.
Again SMT it was possible at least win BVR, but 27 can just spam you.

Radar as usual lacks of systems, like a TCS slaving and etc

I don’t know where are you people pulling those numbers from?

I just know neither of you really played MiG-21, because if you did, you would know it’s wings rip over 1356 km/h (around 850 mph)

For the F-14 wings rip when you go over 1555 km/h (around 966 mph).

There is not a chance, that MiG-21 can outrun an F-14 in any realistic scenario.

The F-104 properly bled the Phoenix out of its energy. Multipath wouldn’t have directed the missile so extremely close to the F-104. Also you can see that the missile is always pointed towards the F-104 not some imaginary multipath target.

Theres some more factors, like implemented RPM dropper on F-14B, loadouts
In result of them theres not a massive difference

So what about the rest of what I said lmao?

With this I just know you are joking.

AIM-9L has double the range, and is twice more resistant to flares, but somehow they are the same to you?

Well dont use your missile like its a a damn R-27ET i guess, not sure what to tell you.

Considering the AIM-9L doesnt have IRCCM, this doesnt matter unless you’re in a super hot plane or unbound your “throttle down” key to cut afterburner.

9L need more time to pull G, and?

0 of resistance is 0, even if it 2 times.

I don’t even know if I should even bother replying.

You couldn’t even get one thing straight.

I mean, R-27s on MiG-21?

Even a 73’s and PD radar. Bison.

And if defeating a Phoenix kinematically isn’t your style. You can always notch and yes its easy.

Look at how easy it was to enter the notch and the Phoenix immediately loses sight. I don’t know how you think the Phoenix is a hard missile to dodge. The MiG-29 entered the notch while the Phoenix was 3.6km away from him.

I was thinking of the bison, my bad.

I got plenty things straight, you’d just rather deny it because “WAAAH MY MIG-21 CANT CLUB LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE LOBBY”

WDYM bro?? Phoenix overpowered, literally has CCCM (Chaff counter-countermeasure)

You definitely don’t need multipathing to dodge a phoenix. A base rusher, phantom with a full payload of rocket pods can easily dodge them. Just pulled into the missile. F-14 complainers will not stop until Gaijin put them at the same BR as the F-15C/F-16C.

Too bad I specifically stated “all the MiG-21 variants that have to face F-14s”, and both of you simply went to the newest, most modern addition.

While there are six other MiG-21s, that have no radar homing missiles, nor R-73s.
