Yeah, I don’t know about Italian G variant but, since F-104G(Germany) is really fine at its BR, F-104S should not be able to have that same BR.
Bought the TAF today to finally start grinding the HUAF and it is as you said. I dont even know what to do with it honestly.
The only way to get a kill with missiles is if the enemy is AFK…This aircraft makes the Tornado MFG is dream to grind with.

At 11.0-12.0 their speed doesn’t matter as much with the introduction of advanced missiles

alright i take back what i said.
I just take off, climb in 40 degrees up to 10K meters alt, turn the search radar off and dive on my victims, sending 9P’s around 2.5km. Works every time if its not a full uptier.
Full uptier is like %80 of the time though

Except 11.0 gets full uptiered 80% of the time, facing four 12.0 (F20, Mig29, F16, F14B), and some F14A early (11.7) spam.

Then i got lucky. had a string of 10.0, 11.3 games …only one guy decided to pitch up for me. Sadly tho the battles are over too fast if my team is not loosing, limiting the potential targets.

the radar missile spam is becoming very boring tho…it needs 10.7. take away the radar missiles it has if needed, those don’t track anything anyway, other than bots.

Well it took them only a few years but finally we got some decompression, which leaves the F104S TAF at a decent bracket, not perfect but workable.
i have almost all top prem planes and f104S TAF still worst of all. Its hard to grinding millions exp on it. But this game isn’t supposed to be fun, right? After decompression there will be the same level of comfort.
Someone hasn’t played this game but is trying to make a change - as always…

I have the feeling that nothing will change as long as at +0.3 br we already face planes with far better radar/radar missiles and all aspect missiles
Dozens of devs play the game.
And playing for the sake of grinding isn’t the intended way to play.
Play for the sake of playing.
Rewards are a bonus.
If the Devs played the game they wouldn’t call the su-27 “the best duelist” in the devblog. It’s literally the worst duelist at top tier lol
