yeah, well not much you can change other than just put up with it till you get the F-4F which is quite good
problem is i died so much that im now so broke and i cant even repair it… gotta use Hunter some more I guess…

MiG-23M sucks, no ACM radar mode, 12 CMs, bad FM
how does sweep wing aircraft have bad flight management? Also countermeasures dont really save F-104, and even if the missiles are so bad, you can still catch up to F-104 and beat it in dogfight

Because the MiG-23M is much worse than MiG-23ML and MLD in FM weaker engine and airframe causes massive speed bleed and acceleration is not good.
And 6 whole pops of CMs? Like are you kidding me?
maybe, but it can still catch F-104, and speed is Starfighter’s main strenght, because F-104 cant dogfight while MiG-23 can.
They dont help much when someone is chasing you, as you have to turn off afterburner and 23 catches you
You know it’s the MiG-23 that has the 6 pops right in a normal engagement, the MiG-23 just dies to IR missiles like Magic 1/2 or 9J/L because it almost has no CMs

The F-4E radar will lose the lock when it sees chaff, bcause it will very likely switch track for the chaff, even in a head-on.
But the missile will reject the chaff and still track fine IF the target is still inside the illuminated/painted zone by the F-4E radar. If you manage to escape that “cone” projected by the radar, the missile will also lose track of you because it won’t see any radar reflection of your own plane.
Usually, the best way to evade them is to chaff as soon as possible, you can even pre-chaff before launch, and turn to any side to escape the painted zone as soon as possible. It’s quite easy to evade them unless he is launching very close to you with a proper lock

10.0 is the BR of F-4C, Mirage IIIC, J35D, F-105D etc. The F-104G has no business there. Why do people always have to ask for absurdly big BR changes everytime they suffer with a vehicle, like do yall realize how much a 0.3 difference can do?
MiG-25PD is annoying? 13.0!
JA37C is annoying? 12.0!
F-104G suffers? 10.0!

well F-4C and MiG-21 both can compete with F-104, and I dont think that is a big issue? Well sorry if I am so wrong, I am just tired of constantly dying to AIM-7s
