I would like to raise a suggestion regarding the current level system.
At the moment, player level (capped at 100) feels mostly cosmetic and somewhat outdated. While vehicle progression remains the core of War Thunder’s development system, account level itself no longer feels meaningful once the cap is reached. For long-term players, especially veterans who have invested years into the game, hitting 100 creates a sense of progression suddenly stopping.
I believe expanding the level system beyond 100 - potentially without a cap or through an extended progression track - would make profiles more dynamic and rewarding. It would provide players with another way to showcase dedication and long-term commitment beyond simply owning vehicles or tracking playtime.
Additionally, this could create an interesting use for accumulated Convertible RP. Many level 100 players have gathered large amounts of Convertible RP over the years. For players who:
Already own most or all vehicles,
Do not wish to spend Golden Eagles on vehicle research,
Or simply prefer not to accelerate vehicle progression with money,
Convertible RP currently has limited purpose.
Allowing Convertible RP to contribute toward extended account leveling could:
Give veteran players a meaningful sink for unused resources.
Offer a purely profile-based progression path.
Create a sense of continued growth without affecting balance or gameplay fairness.
Importantly, this would not need to provide gameplay advantages. Even cosmetic rewards, profile badges, titles, or visual distinctions tied to extended levels would already make progression feel alive again.
The current level system feels static compared to how much War Thunder has evolved over the years. Expanding it would modernize the profile experience and reward long-term dedication in a visible and satisfying way.
I would genuinely love to hear thoughts on expanding the level system and giving Convertible RP more purpose beyond vehicle research acceleration.
