for aircraft there’s this:
On that note, what’s Harimau max reverse speed? Definitely not 5 km/h right? Lol
not stated, but it uses the Allison/Caterpillar X300 full automatic transmission with 4x forwards & 2 reverse, so its mostly going to be close to the CV90 series at ~30-40 kph
oh, it’s good then
Ho-RI gonna be removed soon, so for replacement do you people think PT-76(M) could replace it for 7.3 ?
The already implemented Type 75 & Type 99s are its replacement
but in terms of what Indonesia can uniquely offer at around that BR would be:
-
PT-76(M) | as youve mentioned (6.7 - 7.0)
-
SBS MLRS | (6.7 - 7.0)
-
Anoa PK20 | if given APDS belt (7.7)
-
Anoa/Badak FSVs | if it doesnt get APFSDS (7.3)
not including the AMX variants since they would be at around 8.0 (like the DF105)
but in terms of its role (armored SPG capable of taking hits and giving them) there’s not really much alternatives. Because of that Id prefer the Ho-ri be reworked into its more realistic form
PT-76(M) most likely sit in 7.3 like Italian C13 T90
Badak most likely get higher BR with APFSDS
its hull is worse than the C13 though. slightly worse armor, worse engine power, worse top-speed, plus it doesnt have that big void area in the rear. Its fair to put it at a lower BR especially considering the AUBL 74 also uses the same cannon and its much lower in BR (6.7)
for the Anoa/badak i think its better to separate it into two separate year with the early model prototypes of anoas not having apfsds and the proper Badak & scorpion having them, because otherwise it would just be 5 vehicles which are going to be the exact same thing
for the Anoa/badak i think its better to separate it into two separate year with the early model prototypes of anoas not having apfsds
this is what i fear the most, Gaijin probably doesn’t bother make 2 separate model for 2 differrent BR
Your first source here suggests that the CPWS turret is a mockup

good catch, dunno how i missed that tbh (maybe a relic of the old gdoc list whoops)
The vehicle looks to real to have mock up
Might be a partial mockup where the real turret is fitted but not with functioning weapons or sights like the Pandur FSV. That would still generally be a partial prototype and enough for the game.
Then again I can only find images of the CPWS in one fixed position, so it could just be completely non-functional.
UPDATE (02/08/2026)
Update V17
- Removed the Komodo CPWS (only a mockup turret)
- Changed the name of the British Morris C8 to the Canadian CMP FAT
Ive decided to have a go at this for the ground vehicles. ID vehicles is marked with the square white border, not all vehicles are included obviously, but this should give a rough idea on what it could look like
of course this is with only Indonesia, but there’s already a full ASEAN tree suggestion as well as the JP megatree list
as well as the JP megatree list
bro that’s TT look too cursed for me
Maybe it’s better to give some copy paste/ derivative that can fill the gap and add more variation to BR that lacking variation like M3A1 and M3A3 Stuart could be added for Rank II light tank gap, Prototype and Production model of Harimau tank and Leo 2A4 with Harimau can give Japan a lost 10.7 lineup
Well, a subtree, and only the founding fathers of ASEAN at that. Currently I’m attempting a full ASEAN tech tree, but it will take time to sort things out, and I don’t really have any intentions of creating a suggestion at the moment.
Don’t forget Scorpion 90
Ngl I find “mixed” sub-trees a bit more effective and interesting than “standalone”/single-nation line one, like integrating vehicles into existing gaps rather than inventing something… weird, with little to no correlation, eg. going from wheeled LT with autocannon – Type 24 ICV – to tracked MBT with smoothbore cannon – TKX (P) and Leo2RI.
Those two tanks could’ve been integrated to SPG/H line, provided there are already 105mm gun in there, and with addition of other tanks like Harimau and Badak the line would have more uniformity.
And it’s not like only JP tech-tree has these weird inconsistencies (which are becoming consistencies, if you look at it the other way), as some existing sub-trees and the future ones would really be a bit more organised wasn’t the development focused primarily on the grind process…
I think a new line is fine especially if its to not detract from the other domestic lines
but i agree, a more spread out implementation is also better in terms of grinding. For instance if all the rank 5 vehicles got moved to one line then grinding through it would be a pain
