So cool, the variety is already good imagine when all the potential orders materialize, need this subtree so bad

Just realized the new Su-30 livery has been updated too. It used to have a plain-colored underside, but now it matches the top.

I guess, this isn’t accurate anymore

yeah its a full repaint from pre-2026 to current. Not only the underside but the entire upper area is repainted, easier to see on the probe beside the cockpit, the line is a bit further up than before. Additionally new yellow warning markings has been added throughout the jet, notably lacking on the older paintjob

Old (Left) vs New (Right)

If i had to guess they were probably repainting the jet for the anniversary in 2025, but didnt have time to fully finish it, and what we see now is the finished product

Waiting attack aircraft around battle rating 7.3 ~ 7.7 before RTAF F-84G

T-33 trainer jet?

was a T-33, then modified to be an attacker variant

the capability is a bit worse than the Thai F-84G so its mostly gonna be at like 7.3 or something like that

What did they change about it? More bomb/rocket hardpoints?

domestic modification to make it up to par with the US-made attacker variant. For instance someone noted that the jet on the Dirgantara Mandala museum you see in the image above uses the czech-made variant of the ASP-3N gunsight (used in the east-bloc MiG-15UTI). Other changes include the addition of FFAR rocket pods & 80mm SURA-D rockets (and their domestically produced variant under the “Proyek Menang”)

Dont know about bombs but I’ve looked to no avail, so not certain it can carry them

Don’t know about bombs but I’ve looked to no avail, so not certain it can carry them

Knowing Gaijin they’ll probably give them bombs any ways since the T-33 from other countries mounted bombs. Though there’s still a possibility that Indonesia used bombs on their T-33’s.

The question is if they hypothetically did mount bombs; Is it only US made bombs or if they give their T-33’s the same treatment they give to their OV-10’s & B-26’s where they modify them to use bombs of other nations (Mainly Italian, Soviet and/or Swiss) on top of the US made bombs.

its a bit different though, since this is a domestic modification, we dont know whether they change the wiring for the pylons or stuff like that

The commenter i linked also states this:

“The T-33 could easily carry 500-pound M43 and 100-pound M30 General Purpose (GP) bombs without modification. However, until 1980, the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU) did not possess American-standard aerial bombs such as the GP M43, GP M30, or the low-drag Mark 82. The majority of the TNI-AU’s bombs at the time were Soviet-made FAB-500s and FAB-250s, the suspension lugs of which were incompatible with the T-33. The only Western-standard bombs previously used by the AURI’s Mitchell, Mustang, and Invader aircraft were British-made 500-pound Medium Capacity (MC) bombs—a legacy from the Dutch ML-KNIL. Although compatible with the T-33’s pylons, by the 1970s, these MC bombs were few in number and had become obsolete; their components—particularly the fuses—had deteriorated due to the tropical climate. Ultimately, there was simply no stock of aerial bombs available to arm Indonesia’s AT-33A T-Birds.”

While i agree to that notion somewhat, the British General Purpose bombs was still listed as a suspended armament even all the way to 1996 with the Hawk 53. So the most realistic option of the bombs carried would possibly be that. But again we have no images nor data to confirm it can or cannot carry bombs

not a bit worse, it’s way worse.
only have 2x .50 cal as primary armament if im not wrong. Not worth it to be added tbh

Worse Primary armament but overall better maneuverability and better secondary weapon variety. More useful rockets too so not a useless addition

Strikemaster has just 7.62s, MB-326B has no internal guns and a maximum of two .50cal gunpods (+ some 7.62 ones). It’s fine.
