it was made to critize the makelar NJ, so most of the stuff we already know, the only interesting thing is the numbers of units purchased

AR3 i remember there was an Army meeting discussing the need of a coastal battery specifically from China but i cant find it, it was mentioned in the PowerPoint presented there

the su-27/30 is also interesting though. But the funds is quite low for a full upgrade, so i think its most likely just an overhaul to keep it airworthy

So based on what people online are saying, the info seems to be real. But when they say “contract process,” does that mean it’s already a done deal? Because in one example, the Garibaldi has already sailed to Indonesia, while there’s barely been any news about the Istif-class but both are on contract process.

Garribaldi hasnt sailed to indonesia yet (unless i missed something), those images of them leaving port was for training the crews on open waters

i think its just that the contract was signed, whereas tenders are basically “evaluation”

Seems like it’s outdated info, if not outright incorrect. Mi-8/17 and Falcon 8X are listed as “Lender selection process” even though we already have the units right now.

Keris on facebook also complained that it’s more of a smear campaign against the particular individual/company rather than factual reporting.

Good news is there is likely teams for the aircraft types. But Indonesia has covered there bases if there parts supply gets cut.

Hmm, I thought there are two of them being delivered, one entry only mention a helicopter, while the other entry mentioned one helicopter and its spare parts, maybe I read it wrong.

Haha, having a Soviet/Russian/Ukrainian-made transport aircraft landing at a military airbase is always “interesting”. Especially if we already know that “certain stuffs” are coming.

not officially confirmed which variant it is, the only mention of it was by this commenter who talked with Penerbad pilots and they said its a second-hand Mi-35M
