So I found out why there’s not a whole lot of mention of our Polish Lim-6Bis

one of the aircraft (F-1127 seen on the image above) Crashed during a flight on the 17th December 1970 taking the life of Flight Major Suganda

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/zXIpn3OED6E

in the top left image you can clearly see the brake parachute right above the engine, which can be commonly found on Lim-6Bis variant

Flight Major Suganda was the former Squadron Commander of the 11th Air Squadron. With this we have tangible proof that yes the Lim-6Bis were operational and was in flying condition at least around ~1970. Which is right around the time of the grounded of soviet-origin aircrafts and a switch to a western jets instead.

Considering the timeframe that the aircraft were operated in (1970) as well as the immediate liquidation of 11th AirSqd in 1974 it makes sense why there’s not a lot of mentions of us having Lim-6Bis in the first place, because for all intents and purposes, its a MiG-17, and was classified as such in records

Isn’t the Lim-6bis the more ground-attack orientated variant of the Lim-6’s from the very start

yes it is

correct, which is why its put as an attacker on the list rather than a fighter

KERIS mentioned 2 rafale Cs had departed Bordeaux (FR) for Indonesia for the 2nd batch of delivery

seems to be only Rafale C without the B (T-0304)

T-0317 & T-0318

how does the EF fit into indonesia exactly?

From what I read they intended to buy Austria’s fleet of Eurofighter Typhoons (15) but it did not happen to my knowledge as it fell though. I don’t know if they did any testing though.
