Event star - data collection (CONCLUDED)

3-4 hours over 2 days… totally logical, unless you want the coupon then its per day which is still in MANY ppls time frame i dont see an issue with that metric

Probably 2-3h per day, if you think that is reasonable there is no point in this.

Again, you clearly don’t know what you are talking about…

Do you realize that I played the event on a PS4 account? Metal Detector was useless cause you still needed the resources for the assembly, meaning that by the time you would have enough resources you would also had enough rare materials, Metal Detector was also only meant for those that bought crates with resources with real money but even then, it would only give you extra rare materials, you would still need to play the event to get them(it worked like a multiplier but only for rare materials). While on PC, you could get the IS-7 without playing a single match by simply buying all the rare materials and resources, or the IS-7 coupon.

lmfao if you cannot spare 2-4 hours in a day even fulltime working then maybe the event/WT shouldnt be your priority…

I work 47hours a week and weekends off, start at 8am and finish at 5:30 on weekdays, I go bed at about 12 ish and wake up at 7 ish so i get the typical 7-8 hours of sleep and still have 7 hours in a day left to do whatever I wanna do.

add weekends to the mix to do large chunks of the 750k grinding which isnt gated in stages, this event is more than doable at 2-4 hours for MANY ppl.

like I could argue life choices here and what not but if your someone who “has to spend” 6+ hours doing this event then it means your below average, if your below average then I have to ask the question of “why does this event matter to you as a player” events are opt-in, your not forced to participate, your only “forced” because there is value attached to the investment which is what many seem to have issues with, they want easy return on that investment

gaijin isnt going to make “limited events” doable by the masses, that just defeats the entire point of events even if we excluded the market, it just makes no sense to have events done like that for limited items

You’re absolutely out of your mind if you think everyone should just casually dedicate 4h a day to a videogame lmao.

its literally on the event page… console players got items that PC players didnt because you didnt have the market to offset grinding/resource obtaining, your grind (if you find posts/videos on it) was much easier than pc players had it so dont even try to claim otherwise because its flat out in the event page :D

in the spoiler tab

your grind could be accelerated and done differently to pc players, your experience wasnt/is not the same as to what we had

If you have created the T-34E coupon, you will be able to exchange this for a different coupon which entitles you to receive one of the alternative vehicles. To do this you need go to “Workshop” → “Item exchange - “Operation S.U.M.M.E.R” and click “Collect” under the vehicle that interests you.

Features for the PlayStation 4® and Xbox One players

A special trophy is available for you, the purchase of which you will get one of the following items:

  • Coupon “PPD 34/38”
  • Coupon “Reising M50”
  • Coupon “Owen Machine Carbine”
  • Coupon “Emblem of the Royal tank regiments”
  • Coupon “Emblem of the armoured forces, U.S.”
  • Coupon “Emblem of the armoured forces, USSR”

The received Coupons can be activated or exchanged for a Voucher which can be exchanged for:

  • 30 conventional Materials for T-34E assembly
  • 30 conventional Materials for IS-7 assembly
  • T-34E Metal Detector for 1 Voucher
  • IS-7 Metal Detector for 2 Vouchers

Owners of the Metal Detector for the corresponding tank will receive in battles Rare Materials. From these, PlayStation 4® and Xbox One players can create Rare Parts thereby significantly accelerating the assembly of the vehicle.

you just proved me right… why dedicate “time to a game” by your logic why are you even arguing here if you clearly dont want to spend x amount of time grinding… you do realise your logic falls apart when grinding the TT is much longer but by you playing the game your clearly accepting that fact thus devoiding your own claim

good luck on that logic, might as well not even be on WT at all if im being honest

As I said, the item you mentioned worked like a multiplier for the rare materials, but since you needed the resources for the assembly it was useless since to get those resources you had to play the matches and with that you would get enough rare materials. How do I know? Cause I bought that useless item and found out later, I ended with a lot of useless rare materials after building almost 3 IS-7s. What they mean that the grind could be accelerated was just that, you could buy crates with resources and still had to play matches to get enough rare materials with the Metal Detector. On PC, you could get the IS-7 without playing a single match, either by getting all the resources and rare materials or by simply buying the IS-7 coupon. Do I need to repeat everything a third time?

The TT doesn’t require 4 hours per day.
Dedicating time to a game also should not be 4h a freaking day… like 1h max.

My grind was the same with or without the Metal Detector for the reason I told you, while I did that event on a PS4 account I built almost 3 IS-7 coupons and only kept 1, my friends on PC built the first one, sold it for more than 500GJN, bought a lot of rare event vehicles, grinded a second IS-7 coupon, sold it again for hundreds of GJN, and still grinded a third IS-7 coupon to keep.

4 hours per day or 4 hours per week is irrelevant :D your still spending 4 hours in WT

if your playing WT over several hundred hours i highly doubt your doing it at less than 2 hours per day, sorry but if you claim that I call bs (replays wouldnt lie either) but if your expecting events to balanced around 1-3 hours metric or even 2 hour metric then this is a pointless debate because you cannot please everyone

you clearly do not read the event page.

“The maximum number of T-34E materials that can be received through all of the battle events is also limited, hence, you will only be able to assemble one tank with them”

IS7 event was capped at 1, if you wanted more than 1 IS7 you NEEDED the market to trade resources.

Console players as I showed had the ability to not only recieve more parts they could trade the vouchers for any vehicle of there choosing, you were not limited because you had no way to sell them on a market that didnt exist for console players.

Your grind was not remotely the same as PC players, my point still stands, prior crafting events were harder and locked out more players due to time/grind, gaijin improved that with the 2023 crafting events and now this event which has basically cut the grind to about 2-4 hours, while prior crafting events it was about 6-8 hours going of the score/RNG/build requirement times

The event does require 4 hours per day so I don’t see why that is being compared to the TT that does not require 4h per day.
If we could complete the event in 4 hours per week we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

700 hours a year seems a pretty reasonable amount of time.

then what would even be the point of having an event with “limited items”. you couldnt even classify 4 hours per week as an “event” when it works out to be roughly 34 minutes per day, yh sounds like an “amazing event” if im being honest /s

Did you even played the IS-7 event? Cause you clearly don’t know what are you talking about since you could assemble several IS-7 coupons on PC or on PS4 account, the difference is that you could sell the coupon the Gaijin Market if you were a PC account player and you could only trade it for 3000WB if you had a PS4 account.

That was for the T-34E…

Yeah, amazing… probably because it’s the laziest event one could possibly imagine that requires zero effort from Gaijin and where the only aspect of it is to spend a lot of time.

Spending 25h a week sounds really so much better, as seemingly the requirement to spend 4h instead of 1h makes the event amazing for you.

You missed the part when it said that anyone could do that…

Top tier ground isn’t fun though, everyone has thermal & laser rangefinder point & click. It would be nice to have a 1.2 multiplier for all ranks to make events more enjoyable.

You don’t even know what you are talking about. Prior events were not harder, they required time spent in battle with 50%+ battle activity, now they require score while playing the same random battles. The main difference is the multipliers that completely change the time it takes.
