what else are u supposed to do after grinding out a tree? top tier is 0 skill point and click, lower tiers is more fun, it’s not seal clubbing
With my Tier VII lineup,in Ground Arcade,i usually earn 45k points in 3.5 hours of playing, including wait times, bathroom and either lunch, afternoon snack or dinner.
Mind you,i’m still biased because i have access to one of the highest modifiers, that’s why i still think that these events needs to be tuned
Would you be willing to log your next star in similiar way I did (the furst table in the OP)? So we can have some comparison?
Just log the data, I will put then in the table and with your consent add them to the OP.
ah yes.
playing with crews and lineups against similiarly matched people at BR where you cant get just by buying premium (12.7 GRB if using 12.7 jets) is zero skill.
better take those lvl 150 crews to BR 4.3 using bushed up uparmored KVs and T-34s.
Tell me how I can do it and i will do it with no problems
Thanks.
First, screenshot whatever lineups you will be using, like this.
then make some basic excell spreadsheet, or even paper will do, and just record values of
round start (column A), round end (column B) abd score without any modifiers (column D)
I will then put them in the tabe i made and it will calculate the average values.
- round start is the time on the clock when the game starts loading new game (ie. game starts loading at 20:09, i write 20:09 to the table)
- round end is the time on the clock when the game starts loading back to menu
- score without multipliers is self explanatory. that will be calculated by the table too, so we can adjust the modifiers for comparison later etc.
match length will be calculated automatically by the table.
this is to account for loading times.
time between battles then accounts for break, looking at memes, talking with friends, queue times etc. and that too will be calculated automatically.
you can also record additional notes (column H), for example if you took any bathroom breaks etc.
also do note that with some lineups, you can have for example 4 rank III vehicles and one rank IV CAS plane. If you dont spawn the CAS plane, score uses rank III multiplier. If you do spawn plane, score will be using rank IV multiplier. So in case you have some oddity like that in your lineup, just simply say yes or no to spawning it (similiar to column G in my table). Similiarly if you plan to use lineup of different ranks, just note it somewhere in the table so i know which modifiers i should apply.
You don’t need to do this, you got this information at the end of the battle as long as you don’t leave early.
FYI you can also go to replays and check the match length there, even if you leave early.
as i already explained in the other thread
A) this doesnt account for load times, however small they might be
B) i use those values to calculate time between battles
C) i simply want to have them for some use i havent come up with yet
Load times depend on your hardware, so I think you should only use the “Time Played” you get at the end of the battle. I used to play on PS4, when I moved to PC the load time difference was huge.
yeah but your load times directly affect how long does it take for you to complete the event, no? even if its only a small amount. if your load time into battle is 15 seconds, by playing 10 games that adds up to 150 seconds, and by playing 100 games that adds up to 1500 seconds or 25 minutes. That is significant number. so they should be included both in your average AND total play time it took you to reach 45k score.
or either your load times are what, 1 seconds, and then it does not matter if they are included or not.
and i might wanna know the time if i can calculate at which time of the day players achieve more score per game, i dunno.
i am already collecting it, might as wanna go nuts, i guess.
I would exclude anything besides “time played” cause that is what we should be comparing, score per time played.
How the heck is this argument that started 3 days ago still going?
i still have the replays, so i could theoretically add those to my already recorded games + record it for the next star.
Im still standing by the fact that load times SHOULD be included in time played, because i already explained, they DO affect both your average AND total time it takes you to reach one star.
So does any break you take. If one has to go more times to the toilet, walk the dog, time it takes to eat, etc… then how can you compare the time it takes between people with different habits?
Understandable and respectable, it just seems that SOME people just can’t get over the fact that it seems they don’t want to TRY and grind the event, so they resort to screeching.
And exactly where did you read anyone say that in this thread? Or are you just making things up?
which I note too.
but those arent counted under time played, are they?
thats why i have two times recorded - time it took to reach required score just by pure time played, and time it took to reach required score with etc.
But werent’ you saying that you also count load times on time played?
load times, yes, i count those under time played.
you then went about for example walking a dog,
which isnt counted in time played but rather in time between games.
i think the confusion might be coming from the fact that i used the term “waiting times”. That meant things like waiting in queue, because you can be eating while waiting for game etc.
I still think it’s easier to just compare pure time play, and you can get this information after battle ends:
As you can see by this example there is a 19s difference between time played and battle time and I spawned as soon as possible and haven’t died but when you die and need to respawn the difference gets higher:
1 Death:
2 Death:
If you count this time which depends a lot whether you respawn or not, and multiply it by 18-25 matches, you start getting a big difference.
