Yeah, a lot of weird weapons about to become an option, I think gunjob has started internally reporting some of them
i hope you mean ingame not irl.
IRIS-T is butchered ingame imo
kinda wish it was higher res so i could read what the plaques on the missile say
In WT the second you launch it, it would go into a spin

Yeah I mean, we’ve all seen videos of IRIS-T launches IRL, but in game who knows, you know how it’s modeled 🥀
Marketing vagueposting🥀
To buff IRIS-T it’s a marketing lies
To buff R-73 is a primary source
100% expecting them to behave like SRAAMs did/do. Just random flip outs
sounds like another 5000 buffs to the rafale are in order if that happens
kinda sad that SRAAM was more reliable pre “fixes” as it would probably hit within 1.2km.
nowadays id usually hedge my bets with a 9E over a SRAAM…
I don’t know if I necessarily agree with that, had many spin out before, but they are far from what they should be
Maybe im missing the absolutely insane off boresight hits that actually let a dogfight missile be used in a dogfight.
i could instantly end scissors or two circles with it. my highest kills match in ARB was with old SRAAM from that, 7 kills and 6 of them were nasty SRAAM smacks.
Hope ASRAAM does crazy stuff up close, but im looking forward to having an IR missile for more than 2km that will hit reliably
Well, most of the reports that actually matter for the EFT to compete with 5th gen are common with the rafale, and vice versa, so I better hope that both get their 5000 buffs
But overall the latest 4.5+th gen aircrafts all definitely need more accurate modeling of what sets them apart from other 4.5gen aircrafts in order to better compete with 5th gen, and the good thing is that many mechanics can and should be added to multiple vehicles at once (looking at you Russian/Chinese only ECM)
almost like the rafale is just a eurofighter made only be dassault after they got kicked out for trying to take over the whole project lol
properly modelled Eurocanards are going to give the 5th gens a real tough run for their money with how WT air battles pan out. i hope that gets reflected
Quite the oversimplification, but yeah, both planes are relatively similar in the end, as both projects come from the same initial drawings
Yeah, if say the IRST and other ECM/ESM modules are correctly implemented on both 4.5 and 5th gen, I honestly think that the f22 might have it’s work cut out for it. The F35 probably will be quite a lot better contrary to what some people might think, just because the F22 will be lacking in the more modern systems that equip late 4.5 and 5th gen stuff.
We will see how much stealth helps if(/when ?) we will be able to fire long range IR missiles through IRST on a f22
My experience with SRAAMs was them flipping out at any target within 450/500m and failing to hit anything further than 800-900m away
