Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

there is no interleaved mode and high res SAR doesnt need a high scan speed

Internal investigations on 9L/I-1 have been ongoing for some time as far back as the F-4F ICE where it was called into question then. There were considerable calls last week for a smokeless missile, and whilst the matter of the 9L/I-1 was not fully confirmed, it was issued in response to feedback with 9M always as a fall-back just in case. The devs now have conclusive evidence 9L/I-1 is not smokeless, so the transition to 9M was done today.

All Eurofighter reports have bene under investigation and review, primarily ones with flight performance / radar performance taking a higher priority over Smokey engines.

Got a source saying that CAPTOR-M cant interleave? I’ve seen multiple that say it can

I mean, it did. Without that stupid bug, Top bar would be refreshed every ± 3-3,7 seconds. Now, its doing it in roughly 8.
this would be one scan and then it would go again from bar 1 to 4. Now due to all repeating, doubling two bars, its killing it. It will actually become good radar. Great scan volume in decent time with decent refresh rate. Stuff like F-15 is limited to two bar in 60°.

Thank you.

Absolutely, since they didn’t add IRIS-T or Meteor, the German EF2000 would’ve been stuck with regular 9Ls, which we all know would’ve been disastrous.

Do you employ Sherlock Holmes on your team? Pretty wild a player-base this size, would not have been able to find the source y’all found.

Considering that’s all of them… Is it not just a simple EJ200_engine_smoke == false ?
Are you waiting for more sources? If so pelase let us know so we can get to looking, but I think the ones provided were adequate, no?

So uh, PIRATE on German EFT when? Seeing as the PIRATE was/is tested on domestic demonstration aircrafts as well as “export” variants?

Bit of a /s on this one, but seems like a pretty bad standard to set, tho at this point it just seems like gaijins just doing whatever and historical accuracy or any semblence of has gone out the window.

The exact reason that was used to (rightfully) deny the German EFT its PIRATE IRST is now being used to justify the Rafale F3R not only the best HMD in-game, but also an extra 2 missiles.

classic snail…

Let’s not forget that they also modeled a Tranche 3 Eurofighter, gave it a tranche 3a numbering, and then just erroneously claimed it was a Tranche 2 and implemented it that way… and then when the player-base correctly identifies this error, they’re now making the player-base find the evidence for it…?
They do this very specific tactic, modeling a very specific version of a vehicle to circumvent additional/replacement armament/modifications.

We have a Tranche 2 Block 10 in game. The only Tranche 3 element was the skin, which will be corrected.

Not at all. We offered the suggestion for Tranche 2 Block 10 TLG-31 skins. We have already accepted the issue with the skin and said it would be resolved in the future. But nobody is being made to find further evidence for that.

Not even gonna acknowledge my comment I guess lol?

We have already answered several times about IRST. Nothing has changed about that today.

We have 3 separate versions of Typhoon in game, each with the key elements that distinguish them.

As we have also said, the experimental airframe modifications for the specific German aircraft that had IRST are welcome as suggestions for possible separate aircraft.

Well, the Rafale w/8 MICA’s & HMD should have also been a separate aircraft then (it would be called Rafale F4.1).

Further versions of both Rafale and Eurofighter are both welcome for suggestions and possibilities in the future.

Classic. I dunno what “further” version of the Rafale you’re talking about here, since you’ve basically already turned the “F3.R” into an F4.1 variant (without changing its name), and the only Rafale left, that isn’t currently just a pipedream, i.e the F4.2, would add uh, Meteors and MICA-IRs ig? Cool (the current Rafale can use them anyways).

Y’know, you could always pitch it to the devs that, just like the French have tested HMD and 8xMICA loadout on both at-home & in export configs, the same should apply to Germany here, as they’ve thoroughly tested PIRATE on the 98 + 07 (which is, BTW, a Tranche 2 airframe!).

As for Germany, or EFTs in general, ig that just leaves Tranche 4 aircraft and upgraded T3s (like the British FGR.4 w/ECRS Mk.2).

What is the plan for nations such as Britain, which simply continuously upgraded the FGR4?

With various upgrades in loadout and equipment like radar possible, what is the plan there. Differently named FGR4 variants or a perpetual upgrading of the current airframe (like what was done with the FGR2) ?

Time for an German Tranche 5 Eurofighter with AESA Radar and AMK kit you said? :))))))

The devs are already aware of which airframes tested IRST and we have already provided those answers several times now.

We are a long time off that being a major issue of concern. The current Typhoons wont loose any relevance any time soon and there are always other options.

Well excusez moi, the French getting le preferential treatment )))

inb4 some of em see this and cry me a river lol
