Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

Let’s not forget that they also modeled a Tranche 3 Eurofighter, gave it a tranche 3a numbering, and then just erroneously claimed it was a Tranche 2 and implemented it that way… and then when the player-base correctly identifies this error, they’re now making the player-base find the evidence for it…?
They do this very specific tactic, modeling a very specific version of a vehicle to circumvent additional/replacement armament/modifications.

We have a Tranche 2 Block 10 in game. The only Tranche 3 element was the skin, which will be corrected.

Not at all. We offered the suggestion for Tranche 2 Block 10 TLG-31 skins. We have already accepted the issue with the skin and said it would be resolved in the future. But nobody is being made to find further evidence for that.

Not even gonna acknowledge my comment I guess lol?

We have already answered several times about IRST. Nothing has changed about that today.

We have 3 separate versions of Typhoon in game, each with the key elements that distinguish them.

As we have also said, the experimental airframe modifications for the specific German aircraft that had IRST are welcome as suggestions for possible separate aircraft.

Well, the Rafale w/8 MICA’s & HMD should have also been a separate aircraft then (it would be called Rafale F4.1).

Further versions of both Rafale and Eurofighter are both welcome for suggestions and possibilities in the future.

Classic. I dunno what “further” version of the Rafale you’re talking about here, since you’ve basically already turned the “F3.R” into an F4.1 variant (without changing its name), and the only Rafale left, that isn’t currently just a pipedream, i.e the F4.2, would add uh, Meteors and MICA-IRs ig? Cool (the current Rafale can use them anyways).

Y’know, you could always pitch it to the devs that, just like the French have tested HMD and 8xMICA loadout on both at-home & in export configs, the same should apply to Germany here, as they’ve thoroughly tested PIRATE on the 98 + 07 (which is, BTW, a Tranche 2 airframe!).

As for Germany, or EFTs in general, ig that just leaves Tranche 4 aircraft and upgraded T3s (like the British FGR.4 w/ECRS Mk.2).

What is the plan for nations such as Britain, which simply continuously upgraded the FGR4?

With various upgrades in loadout and equipment like radar possible, what is the plan there. Differently named FGR4 variants or a perpetual upgrading of the current airframe (like what was done with the FGR2) ?

Time for an German Tranche 5 Eurofighter with AESA Radar and AMK kit you said? :))))))

The devs are already aware of which airframes tested IRST and we have already provided those answers several times now.

We are a long time off that being a major issue of concern. The current Typhoons wont loose any relevance any time soon and there are always other options.

Well excusez moi, the French getting le preferential treatment )))

inb4 some of em see this and cry me a river lol

thatll probably come with block 5 F-35

What has happened is that Gaijin has massively jumped the gun with the addition of the variants of EFT and Rafale, we all expected an early T1 B5 airframe, with the 2x AIM-9M/Li and 6x AIM-120B combo, with CAS capability tacked on to the german one through Gbus, same with the Rafale, an early F2 variant with 6 MICAs and Gbu/Damocles.

However we recieved airframes that should have arrived in the later stages of 2025, with later blocks of T2 being far too excessive for the counterparts (besides the F-15I which is it’s own can of worms) and Rafale F4 which is currently far too new and will force gaijin to add newer aircraft prematurely, this won’t end well for anyone and the development cycle must be slowed down ASAP

If AESA becomes the standard at top tier (which I would not be surprised about) then CAPTOR-E equipped Typhoons will be needed sooner rather than later.

I also suspect we are not far off Aim-120C5s entering the arsenal, at which point I would assume they would just be straight upgraded with those at the moment.

If translated from moderator to human language. Smin says that the first Typhoon will be crap, like the same MiG-29 (GDR) without the R-73, but the next ones will be better, like the MiG-29G

Mmmkay?

Exactly what I mean, they have added aircraft which set a standard too high for the natural progression of technology, instead of PESA J-10B we now need AESA J-10C, etc

Not really, certainly not until mica is fixed. The aesa, even though tracks really well, takes tons of time to refresh and establish new tracks. EW is completely missing which is HUGE part of Rafale.
It aint really better in current meta than F-15E/I. If they fix radar bug with scan pattern, Typhoon will be better too but its held back by bug affecting every radar and EF/Flankers are affected the most.
I would go as far as every F-15C is on par/better due to spamraam capabilities and good radar and J-10 even with ist current radar aint no slouch either, both BVR and BFM. Who suffers hard is russia and sweden.

isnt rafale F3R from 2013 or 2014 aswell? they really went too far with this update

This whole issue started with the F-15E, it has caused a rift between what the natural progression of the game is, and the warped version we are in currently, after the Fox-3 patch (which saw the heavier fighters already more dominant like F-15C) and a slight step in the right direction with the J-10, which made the meta more balanced but only for a small portion of the playerbase.

Then they jumped to an aircraft with monumental amounts of thrust, amazing radar, amazing BVR performance, best CAS ability in game and overall the best multirole we have ever seen, being the best CAS and best Fighter rolled up into one, and only accessible to 2 trees. Now gaijin’s solution was to provide the nation who would play it the most with a variant which was downgraded to prevent the situation that we got in game (completely one sided dominance) and give Israel a variant with limited CAS ability in favour of the good engines, however the -229 forums incident meant that top tier ARB was dominanted by what was essentially a typhoon, forcing gaijin to rush this update with little care for the balance of the game overall, instead of adding 4.5 gens they should’ve simply nerfed the F-15E and focused on another section of their supposed agenda.
