Alright you’ve had your fun whoever put it in. It’s been weeks turn it off. No one asked for it, no one is enjoying it, so why is it here?
its so we crash trying to land clearly
I’m enjoying it. I feel it’s one of the more immersive and aesteticaly interesting updates they’ve done to ARB in years.
Outside of the spotting mechanic needing some TLC, I really don’t understand all of the hate. We already have a rather paltry map rotation and stale gameplay objectives, why do we need the exact same weather conditions every game?
Why do you play a game? For me and many others, it is because we are looking for something new, a challenge where we can apply our skills and come out on top. The fun part is the unexpected and the variable: dynamic gameplay.
Many players misunderstand this, looking for the most easiest way to get ahead, not understanding that the game is not fun if you remove all the barriers. Well, it’s not completely black-and-white, rather a matter of preference and taste, but I think most War Thunder players agree they are looking for something that is decently realistic. And bad weather is. Unlike real life, we may not have terrain-following radars for avoiding crashes, or long-range ground radars for pointing out enemy planes concealed in clouds. But you will find much evidence that these are conditions pilots in real life flew through.
I like the clouds, they are better for people trying to enjoy the atmosphere of the game rather than exclusively mindlessly grinding new vehicles.
They’re trying to turn it into the temu version of ace combat
I think it should be mandatory for GRB above 9.0. Atleast till they fix the SPAA imbalance.
Want to sky climb? Fine, but you can’t see anything up there.
That’s a Ground Battle specific comment when the OP hasn’t specified if he means Ground or Air. And I bet he means Air.
Yep, but that’s why I specified.
Although I have had a good time zooming through the clouds chasing bombers in some maps, I’ve also popped out right into cumulus granite formations so j understand the struggle.
Ok but arguments about clouds and planes pertaining to player controlled SPAA has no place in a topic about clouds in Air Realistic Battles.
Same planet, same atmospherics, same “get over it”.
Desert maps bruh
Please tell me when you can control your tech tree, player controlled SPAAs in Air Realistic Battles, Joseph.
On the same day you stop being a toxic troll for the past 10 years? You’ve been inflicting your mental illness and social disorder on me and other people you don’t like since the old forums were young. You need therapy. Don’t you have a wife? Kids? A job? Don’t you have grown adult man things to do and worry about, rather than get your therapy being toxic on a game forum?
Clouds are good for people who learned to fly.
All other Maverick hyped newbs are not ready to fly.
That’s why it bothers many people,…
But learning how to fly ain’t hard currently,… you just need to get yourself together and LEARN (ooo, big word here)
In brief,… LEARN ^^"
They’re just annoying in my opinion. I’d accept them if they weren’t almost every match too.
Clouds is one of the best updates in years. Of course, there is always room for improvement, thanks Gaijin for this! Basically, the weather is a very important factor even in today’s real aerial combat.
Im enjoy it
Yeah it can definitely go both ways. I enjoy them, same with night games, but not all the time and not always full coverage.
Wish we could add rain and the effects of wind as well.
I bet this excessive Clouding is due to CAS whiners, in an attempt to nerf Close Air Support gone wrong.
