Ejecters in SIM

Come back here after you have actually played with the recent Jet SB games.

Many players J out because they cannot dodge ARH missiles or just getting radar locked. And in SB, J-outs are not counted as kills even if they are near of you.

They were not long ago, which tells me there’s a new bug; which would’ve been easier to understand if the original post actually mentioned a potential bug.

That is not a bug, it is a specification that has been around for years.

As far as I know, when the system was implemented in AB/RB/SB where J-outs counted as kills, it was removed because people abused it. My old friend was part of them, but was banned for a few days.

It was removed because people abused it to get many hundreds of player kills / match by parking their plane next to enemy airfield while having several multiaccounts on the enemy team J-out right after spwning in (later on upgraded method parked next to air spawn and finally in certain maps next to a bugged airspawn). This ment you could farm an account into top tier extremely quick and it was done eventually in rather big scale.

Here is an example from the earlier farmers

The economy in Sim has been changed several times and ways since. (This was even before the notorius airfield afk spinners). I don’t really see how adding back the kill credit to nearest enemy when using J-out could be abused in the current day reward system we have.

Shows the extent some go to ‘farm’ Sim EC, and why Sim players get all upset at anyone questioning the mode and the players who do abuse this because they don’t want thier mode changed, not because they do this but because they fear the change they would have put on thier sacred mode.

Why would anyone?

He is trolling. Dude keeps demanding we turn air sim into a PvE game mode because pvp is too hard.

Looks like it is even harder, lol.

Yes, and being so persistent I can only think he must be crazy. I have no idea what he’s doing.

Well, the only thing I know is that my mission after this ridiculous event has been decided. lol

It is not my problem if you cannot read or understand the text. I have never demanded that.
The only wish I have is to have an additional PvE mode. I have never proposed to replace EC with PVE.

sim isnt for rewards anyways and Jing out costs money
just take your moral highground and treat it as a kill

rocket airfields while killing others that are doing the same on the way

Yesterday I flew close to a friendly plane in the middle of Sinai and was about 500m from him, saw his name tag… and he EJECTED!

He obviously heard me, assumed I was hostile and did his standard move… didn’t even wait to find out.

Perhaps a different penalty is needed. If you eject behind enemy lines you get crew locked for 5 minutes?

Anything has to be better than what we have.

Problem is that there are other ways. I had a Tornado lawndart yesterday when he noticed me getting into position to take him down.

J-out is always intentional, crashing can be intentional or by accident, thus it’s difficult to distinguish.

still need to be given to an chasing aircraft
since that mostly happens if player, who crashed tried to abuse multipath and other stuff. or maybe just doesnt know how to fly

Are you absolutely sure he didn’t just run out of fuel or patience on his way to the airfield?

If your pilot has passed out… well, that’s easy to check.

But I agree that we’ve all probably crashed by flying too close to the ground and getting a little freaked out when noticing someone on our six :p

I’ve died more times than I care to admit in Sinai because the sand is so flat! You can’t judge how close you are to the ground.

No, we were in the middle of the map and both heading towards the enemy side…

Heard him, looked up and out he popped in a heartbeat.

Getting padlocked is indeed dangerous, also in VR. In some types it is my main reason for deaths, I have to admit, overestimating one’s aircraft capabilities, neglecting speed and altitude, neglect to knock it off in time, contrary to knowing better…

I would accept an occasional crew lock to reduce the amount of people clearly exploiting other players…

Something needs to be done.
