Why is MB-326K the same BR as the ME-262A, Attacker, Kikka?
Why is the SU-11 the same BR as the Mig-9? (and why are the Mig-9 and Mig-9 late the same BR?).
Why is La-200 the same BR as the J29A/B, MD-450B, Sea Venom, F-84G, Meteor NF.13?
Why are the Mig-15 and F-86A-5 the BR as the R2Y2, Sea Hawk, Vampire, MD-452 IIA?
Playing low BR jets is such a minefield.
Games are so mismatched I can’t believe it’s being ignored.
I’m currently spading the Attacker (BR 7.0), and just had a game against USA and Russia; the enemy had Mig-15s and Sabres, our 8.0’s were IL-28 bombers.
Take a guess how that went?
I’ll give you a hint… 5 mins in and I turned around, landed, and J’d out.
MB-326K has worse players probably.
Su-11 is equal to the Mig-9L.
La-200 is a difficult plane to use, and has poor dogfight performance.
Mig-15 suffers from 9.3 BR compression [primarily F-100, Mig-19…].
I’ve been spading my Attacker in ground when playing Britain 7.x.
Good anti-CAS jet.
The entire point is that the mig 15s and 17s were moved down erroneously separately from every other one of their dozens of peers to cater to the already very pampered USA/USSR players. Is this hard logic for you? This is not me “partway agreeing”. The MiG-15bis deserves to be 8.7 as of this patch, the MiG-17 deserves to be 9.0. Every F-86A, F-86F, and CL13 apart from the CL13 Mk4 also deserve 0.3br higher than they currently are. This goes into direct contrast as to what Alvis was saying and agrees with what OP was saying.
Is this the new ragebait tactic? To claim the other guy is trolling first early in the conversation when you’re the one doing so?
At the time they were performing consistently worse than the other mentioned planes. The fact you’re upset about them instead of the fact you’re taking out a plane that has essentially never left the category of dogshit says enough.
Besides, is it so hard to remember BRs are very frequently adjusted by player performance? There’s a reason the P-400 went down and the P39s don’t go up when they can shit on most everything, a reason the A-36 went down when it’s 90% the same as a 51C, a reason the 40F isn’t higher than the E, the list goes on. Does not get simpler.
Yes, I’m the one trolling when you post once a year and come in here immediately making vague statements and refusing to elaborate while insulting the other person. See you in 2027!
I can agree the MB 263K is under tiered. Or the R2Y2 can feel overteired. And so on and so forth. Low BR jets is tricky- in some sense because compression exists, and in other senses because it doesn’t.
Really good jets exist at the BR because they would be Really Bad™ if they were even .3 higher. That causes a lot of appropriately BRd jets to struggle. On the flip side- Really bad jets exist because they would be Really Good™ if they were just .3 lower. But Gaijin won’t move them lower because that compresses the Prop Plane BRs, which is the one thing Gaijin really has right.
So jets are really struggling because of compression, because they have to face really good opponents. On the other hand jets struggle because Gaijin refuses to extend that compression into Prop Plane BRs, so they won’t move down and face more appropriate foes.
