I am sure they will add another version of the Pucara to the tech tree.
The issue is France doesn’t need a sub tree they have plenty of domestic vehicles to add. It’s addition ruins the French part of the French tree.

So, long story short, your take is, we need to remove BeNeLux vehicles entirely from the game, or just shoved into the German Tech Tree because nothing but C&P is bad?
Gaijin… I don’t mind the copy paste vehicles, but PLEASE for the love of God do something to reduce the grind for them. Having to spend 300,000+ RP on EACH copy paste vehicle in separate tech trees, and then stock grind and spade them is NOT fun. Perhaps spading one Leopard 2A4 unlocks the upgrades for all other (exactly the same) 2A4s, or maybe you get a 50% research discount. Or even if all versions were unlocked when you unlock just one. Think about it, it would get players to play new tech trees, and perhaps even buy talismans for them. I would.

No, I was willing to let them sit in the German tree because variants of tanks in their own tree are okay for me. The guy i was responding to called it double standards so I followed his interpretation of it. Earlier someone called the M3 Lee, T20 M4 C&P and the M1 and Leclerc C&P. You read the end of a conversation with no context.
So, BeNeLux need to find a new home instead of France, because they bought many German vehicles, and those vehicles are variants of German vehicles?
Your solution is to tear down the BeNeLux subtree into pieces and send leopards to Germany, and send falcons to USA?
Just like Canada went?

I’m going to group the Mk III’s, the Mk III A1’s, the 30mm rarden’s, the ATMG carrier, and the 76mm low pressure for the time being.
90mm Cockerill MK III is on the Aubl 74 and sits at 6.7 Unless this platform gets APFSDS France has 6.3-7.0 light tanks and HEATFS slingers, and we still don’t have ELC Even 90, which bridges the gap between the 6.3 ELC bis and the AMX-13/AML-90. See below regarding APFSDS
90mm Cockerill MK III A1, based on the forum’s Cockerill Weapon system post, has access to apfsds with ~100mm 60 degree pen at 1000 meters is comparable to France’s CN90 f4 and CS90 F4 cannons, found on the Mars 15, ERC 90, AML Lynx, AMX 10 RAC, and AMX 10 PAC 90.
30mm Rarden, France has it’s own small caliber autocannon light tank and armored car platforms like France has options like the AML Hs.30 (30mm), ELC EVN 30 (30mm), ERC TTB 125 Lanza, ERC TTB 140, AMX-10P TTB 140, and Panhard CRAB CPWS 30 (2 variants)
Swingfire ATGM, The Swingfire sits at 8.0, and while France currently doesn’t have an 8.0 ATGM carrier, they have AMX-10 HOT, VCR TH HOT, VAB VCAC, RPX 6000 MCT, RPX 6000 HCT, Lohr RPX 3000 Milan, Panhard VBL HOT x4, VBL Proto Milan, VBL ATM, Lohr VPX 110M Milan, Lohr VPX 110 Milan, and Lohr VPX 5000.
76mm, Given the limited pen, this will likely either compare with the French Servals with the 60mm brandt mortar, or the TCM 81 with the direct fire 81mm mortart, found on AMLs, ERCs, and AMX-10P’s

That was my take on the Abrams Leclerc thing too.
But yeah kind of. Unless gaijin adds the mobile thing where you can take tanks from different trees or splits up sub trees into their own thing you get lineups where Germany is taking M44’s with panthers to fight American M44’s with FW190’s. I don’t want their vehicles removed from the game but as it’s added it’s just making the trees slop.
Edit: better example Germany using M44’s KV1s, Churchills, T-34s and P-47’s to fight a Japanese M24, M44, M19 and P-51
The worst decision one that absolutely no one needs is releasing the M55 for multiple nations at once. Was it really impossible to just add the Hummel for Germany right away instead of this thing? A filler like this is unnecessary and not at all appealing. Besides, why is this caliber ranked so low? And why is it in so many tech trees? Gaijin probably doesn’t even know itself.

So will unique and historically important vehicles currently locked behind a paywall be added to the tech tree as well? Or are they still going to be paywalled?

Because apparently modeling the AMX-30C2 is soooo much harder than just putting a Leopard 1 on the French Tech tree. Let’s just ignore that the C2 model is like 90% equal to the B2, but nooo, France NEEDS to get the short end of the stick, always and forever.

Hence we added M44s and M55s everywhere, because we had no solid evidence things like Wespe, Hummel, Priest and Bishop ever existed…
Why do you still even bother with national tech trees? Go full Ace Combat, create Eurusia vs Urusia and be done with it…

Did France really, like REALLY need a benelux subtree then? I’m not bad talking Belelux, I actually find their early plane soo good and very fun to play, but like wouldn’t Benelux be better suited for Germany? I speak as someone who mainly plays Japan, Britain and France. As I see from the Vehicle sujestions passed to developers, it would’ve seem like France has plenty of unique and quircky vehicles that could, at least in part fill the gaps on Tech Tree but are not implemented, instead, we ave things like a Leopard 2 on a lineup with already 4 Leclercs (What does this even add?). Instead we could have a tank or something that actually fix a BR gap such as the one where the Super Etendard sits.

You mentioned development time. I think most people actually dont understand how long it takes to develop a vehicle so heres my suggestion:
-Openly show the development of a vehicle from start to finish, from finding and gathering sources, to modelling, to balance etc.
-This will give people more of a perspective of whats going on inside and how vehicle development works
-The way I would do it is post weekly updates on progress made with the development of such vehicle
“We would like to be open and say that both during development of each major update and after its release, we carefully analyze your feedback and adjust our plan, mainly by community request.”

You mean things like F-20, F-89s ,A-6E , P-59 , Sea Hawk Mk100 ,FFA P-16 , L-39 , J-22 , Sea Vixen … just to name a few planes that are completely unique without TT/event/squad counterpart even as a hint.
My other problem is why you make the best versions of a plane premiums , like F-14D , Netz(mod) , J35XS, Su-11 , F-4S.
And then you have some questionable choices in terms of how you value some premiums. For ex. Su-30MKK/MK2 AMV 13,3 while you play…Su-34 as 13,7 , NF-5A (which is more of F-5E in game , while it was a slightly better F-5A in reality) same BR with F-5A. And the new F-14D which is straightforward better than 14B but same BR with 14B (but even try to “sidegrade” it with 14B which is impossible radar alone). There are a few others as well especially if you go ground or naval (i don’t even want to start with naval). Now tell me you just didn’t do that only to “sell” …
What i see written there is a bunch of excuses. We all knew that we would have C&P with modern vehicles. The problem is how you handled it and you handled it very bad.
If you ask me C&P is nearly unavoidable, except if you place export variants under the producer nation, but that isn’t good because many TTs will loose value. So ok, let’s not go there.
The best way to implement a “premium” i believe it’s like you did with MiG 23ML , Mirage F.1 , F-4E Japan , Su-22M4 . Yes it is TT version overall , but you buy it to grind faster, has some extra camos and it’s nothing gamebreaking or that someone MUST buy to play it.
For example , i have F-4E Jap and MF.1 both premium and TT. I play the premiums because better income . It doesn’t feel forced, but i know why i bought them. They have a reason!
If there was TT F-14D for example, i’d buy the Premium F-14D in an instant…even in that state it is.
It’s my favourite plane , i wouldn’t mind have both . Hell my F-14s are all talismaned as well.
Now it feels kinda forced to buy it and it is not even in the state it should be (even cockpit is wrong).
Do you know how many times i wished it was like this? The MM is not historical by any means anyway.
So , yeah … why not focus on the realism and quality on vehicles instead of trying to please national fanbase. They would play it anyway, just pull some RL camos -unlockable - in the vehicles and since we can make our own camos they would be fine as well!
As i said the MM is not historical, either for BRs or nations. And to be fair some “hypothetical” confrontations should be avoided, since they might have political meaning -even if GJ doesn’t have any.
