I have a Ka-Chi, and it’s a rare and special tank, but I’d have a lot more fun if my friends had it and we could play it together, rather than it being just me. Meanwhile even if it wasn’t rare, it would still play the same if I took it to battles alone.

When i first got the IRIAF the majority of players i was againt was the level 1-20s that flew MiG 23 MLs and F4S premiums that had no clue how to play the jets
NASCAR and Formula 1 are pretty strict when it comes to vehicle performance, yet people still watch those races. The drivers are what makes these races interesting.
For a while there actually was a time where NASCAR races kept being one by the same person, but that person wasn’t interesting enough, so people stopped watching lol

I guarantee you take something that is a good tank in the TT and say gaijin made it an event instead people would play it a lot more bc it is rarer idk why people do this but its true
For low BR vehicles that is because the event ones usually are premiums.
At higher BRs that usually is only during the initial hype, afterwards it depends on how good the vehicle is compared to other options.
If the TT options (or the premiums) are better, the average player is going to choose those over the event vehicles.

Also long-term these vehicles will be played less, as the number of players who have them is lower. Players can only deal with so much repetition, even if they are rare the number of players who will choose them over and over again will go down and they will be played less frequently.
If they are available though, new players will discover these vehicles to try them out, and circle back if they had fun. While they lose interest others might try them and so on.
I couldn’t tell you when I last played my Chi-Ha Kai TD, even though it’s a rare vehicle, but I guarantee you there was at least a hundred people playing the same tank in the techtree today alone, who might try to start a new nation, or just enjoy a lineup that has it and came back to the vehicle.

Anyways, whatever the DCT vehicle ends up being, I hope that it’s something that is interesting because of how niche or weird it is.
It would be a huge shame if something like the Su-15 ends up being the DCT vehicle.
There are enough wacky options out there, no need to turn something that’s pretty normal into a DCT vehicle, just because it is popular.

It would be in line with Russian vehicles being underwhelming DCT picks though. The Russian Community is different from this one.
Wouldn’t be dreams come true in any form. It’s a mass produced pretty basic interceptor from the mid cold war.

TV-8 my beloved when? also the other T95 medium tank variants would be cool however i’d like them to be tech tree. YB-49 would be cool YF-12, HIMAG, or ELKE. unfortunately since the last one was american i doubt this next one will be too

The point of that statement was i brung up the idea we havent had a “tank” ground event vehicle since MAY. They have all been APCs and IFVs since, so im breathing in the copium and praying that DCT is a tank. Eventhough it most defo is a plane, considering after DCT we dont get another air event till Operation W.I.N.T.E.R - The winter event, so its a bit weird if DCT isnt an aircraft since we would have went 2 whole months without an air event.

Id like to see another Sunderland variant if its a flying boat, Preferably one with the .303s in the nose replaced with 50cals, Which was done.
Some of them also got a twin 20mm Roof turret, and a twin 50cal tail turret.
