That’s an April Fools post.
The Su-47 one is a legitimate suggestion that was passed to the devs.
The attempts to make suggestions for the EAP were shut down early on.
Im sure hes capping so the O-I is bigger suprise.

Its not fictional. It was build and tested without main turret. Its basically like maus or E-100

Maus was fully tested and we have photos of it during testing and it was fully functional 🤷♀️ until they blew it up to prevent Soviet capture of a functional model

Was posted in December 2023 (before the April Fools one) and was forwarded in January 2026 (after the April fools one).
The suggestion was up for 2 years until it was forwarded. You’d think somebody in the Suggestions Moderation team would have deleted it, if it actually was a problem.
Smin has already stated that a suggestion being passed does not give it eligibility for the game. See the quote I referenced earlier in this thread.
Further, I do believe that Smin has vocally hard denied the Su-47 for the same reasons as the EAP.
Correct but this is irrelevant since 1 it’s too high and it’s been hard denied like 10 times now.

Means it’s incredibly hard to actually concretely prove it was built and how it would look even with models and blueprints it can be limited 🤷♀️ O-I is likely just a tank we won’t see in game
Well we do know exactly how it would look… and again. Its not like its just design it was tested. Its not like you can model tank from photos anyway. You need blue prints. And those are pretty much complete and avaliable.

isnt the OI a forgery like the HO-RI and panther 2 (in its WT/WOT spec)
I can’t imagine why someone would forge the designs for an interwar tank design, but it’s definitely not impossible.
YAK-141 wasnt armed
It carried mocks and true because it was a unfinished prototype that failed due to the collapse of the ussr 🤷♀️it’s not any different then like the many planes who were also unfinished like ho229 xp50 or xp55

Ultimately it’s up to Gaijin whether they want to add the Su-47 and other such planes or not and I have a feeling that the Su-47 might actually come someday (provided they keep War Thunder going for long enough to run out of stuff to add)

ok so dont go saying “oh we cant have this cus it didnt have armament” their are so many planes in the game that didnt have their armament or didnt even fucking exist yet they are still in the game so that argument is completely invalid
When they run out of “hype” stuff to add, chances are that they will go back to these planes and start adding weapons to them.
Forgeries also happen by accident: mistranslations, misinterpretation of existing sources, lack of easily verifiable information, etc.
To make an obvious example: there really was a plan for something called a "Panther II’. There was also a plan for new Panther turrets (the Schmalturm and the Schmale Blende). There was even a (scrapped) plan to upgun Panthers with the long 88. And there were certainly late war plans for better German engines. It’s just that these were all different plans that took place at different times and were never meant to coalesce into one vehicle.
There really was a plan to upgun a Tiger II with a 105mm (aborted because of RoF drop), and a plan to give the Tiger II a rangefinder, and again plans for better German engines, but once again, not a comprehensive package upgrade, individual ideas that existed independently of one another.
As a final note…
Model making companies should not be trusted or treated as sources on this one. They are commercial, for profit entities and it’s in their best interest to sell interesting kit, even if it’s ahistorical (and not always honestly presented as such), or even simply if they take liberties when they do use partial and incomplete source material. You can also build models of the Sabelzahntiger and that was literally the invention of a videogame!
