I believe you lacked insights into what “cherry picking” means in this context. I do not intend to sound harsh or overly blunt here, but several creators have stated in their content that their videos do not show true in-game performance. Furthermore, since the majority of them have their nickname “hidden” in their videos, you have no idea what their full stats are unless you have some of them added (so do you?). Obviously, I am not going to start naming individuals here since it is not allowed.
Furthermore, as @Cpt_Bel_V has already stated, if you want to “restrict” the playing options of newbies using high-tier premium in matches, the meme (he mentioned trollsquad, but I am not going to use that word as I thought it sounded a bit harsh) squad should experience similar “restriction” as well. Based on my experience in mid- to mid-high-BR battles (which I mostly play), meme players do not outperform in their teams when compared to novice players. In reality, the majority of them are eliminated early in the match without getting a single kill and leave the game practically immediately. Obviously, you will be unaware of this since you have not participated in enough realistic battles to be aware of it.
Finally, some level 100 players perform similarly to newbies. If you are going to put a “restriction” on something, you might as well put all “restrictions” on anything related to make things fair.

Sorry someone left the screen door open. At 100 and as old as the game is I’m far from who I was, so my performance is totally random (mostly bad lol) why bother playing if I’m terrible ? because I enjoy playing with friends or possibly meeting new friends. Br’s, levels blah blah some play for the historical feel some want the exciting 3 min missile fights. I have no problem with peeps bring in something like one or 2 brs below the fights average most of these guys are truly grinding , yet still get greif. The only one thats needs a time out is the Abrams that brought his pet m22 to the fight… lol just my thoughts.
I believe you lacked the insights into what “checking somebody’s stats” means in this context. I do not intend to sound harsh or overly blunt here, but i have checked many CC’s stats i know of, and all of them are at least decent (but generally good). I did so when their names were not hidden.
Even if i can not check them (since nick hiding was introduced), when you watch a video of somebody, especially if it is live commented, you can easily spot if someone genuenly plays well, and you can spot those, who just get lucky, and have a good match.
Also, if i am correct, you can still find an anonimized player via replays, and then get the player ID from it.

So you can’t bring a low BR tank into a high BR match via a squad or just placing it into your lineup in arcade. Well, you learn something every day…

Why not ban then aviation? Only certified, and trained personal can fly planes, yet (excluding mechanical issues) there are plenty of airplane accidents where they have happened by the pilot’s faults.

Oh, there are cases where highly trained medical professionals messed up, and the patient died? Guess we should ban healthcare then!
There have been some nuclear accidents? Ban the use of nuclear, since the reactors are controlled by trined professionals, yet they exploded several times! Or they even can become nukes!4!4!4!4 (i know they can’t)
Let me list a few more: cheical accidents, where those things were handled by trined professionals, engineering failures, legal failures, and a whole more!
Restrictions will NOT provide 100% safety. But they reduce the harm by an insane amount.
Yes, your drivers license will not guarantee that you never crash. but it greatly reduces the chance.
For example, i have a mate, with whom we send random unknown youtubers’ videos, that play like trash. Even if they have a good game, you can almost instantly see that their general performance is bad.

Sure. But what does your reasoning have to do with my claim that you lack insight into meme players performance in realistic battles? Since you claim that meme players are “doing more for their team” and I simply pointed out that from a realistic battle perspective, your claim does not match what I experienced? You completely missed what I was saying.
I merely stated that you are most likely unaware of the fact that most meme players perform really poorly in realistic battles since you are an arcade player. And you mentioned that players can use squads to bring low-tier vehicles into high-tier matches? That appears to be rather disconnected. :)
Because i have talked about it with player playing at top tier.
Many times, they are using a Ho-Ro, or things like that to troll/farm god mode. With tanks like those, you can efficiently kill any tank in the game, the newest top tiers included.
While i agree with you on that some regular trash tank is likely going to be useless, even those can be more useful than wallet warriors.
There is even a YT channel dedicated to this stuff, and he even got kills at top tier with thngs, like the useless rocket launcher on the T-60 at top tier, T-26-4 with shrapnel at top tier, etc.
And while these matches are certainly cherrypicked, he is at least as effective as wallet warriors.
For example, in this video he has 7 kills, while he has a total of 10 kills to 36 deaths. So even in the worst case, he killed 7 tanks at top tier while dying 36 times. This is much, and i mean much better than what walled warriors pull (they are worse than actual bots):

Sory mate but you are rly disconnected from reality and blinded by hate towards bad players.
There is no rule saying you cant be bad, just like there is no rule saying that new players are bad.
For example if a good WOT player comes to play WT and he plays ARCADE just like you he does the same thing wiggling crosshair on enemy tank and waiting for the green cross to show up and fire.
You dont need low tier expirience, mb you done some research, watched some vidoes and you are smart enaugh to jump into 11.3 premium and do well.
You cant put everyone into the same basket and call it a day.
Also you being passive aggresive towards people that dont agree with you only shows that you are blinded by hate.

Pls you compare WoT with WT playerbase and I know how it end in WoT always. You can pull victory with a light tank vs 4 heavy tanks in any tiers in the small maps smaller then WT maps. I switch from WoT do WT and I know how it works because is not the teammate but your hp that change the battle. In WT is penetration fatal and in WoT you survive multiple shot until your hp runs out.
I find it amusing that a small vocal minority complains about problems that do not exist. Such as this one.
Problem that do not exist? When you’ll be fighting 12 jets, with 6 of your teammates being Rank 2 at best maybe you’ll be less arrrogant about it.
It happenned to me,… and still i wanna allow some lower ranks to enter high tier, but limiting it would be better for everyone.
(Thus, the method of OP is wrong)

Complain more about cheaters instead because you want driving new players away and what is left are cheaters and veteran players.
You’re not going to win every match, as much as you can blame other people for it it’s just not going to happen.

I’m not agreeing with the thread creator,… he is wrong from what he ask to be done,… yet, i already proposed something far more easy on new players, with reasons, and short time of limitation (links above)
To recall, it is not rare that Trollsquad(hence @Bunny_宝妮 why i call them trollsquad and not the meme) players are doingTeamkills at takeoff → it happens often than a Trollsquad of 15 years old guys wants to jump in low cost aircrafts to kill half a team, even today
That’s also why now, jet players do teamkill aswell → because they feel unsafe about those trollsquads
Complainning about cheaters are not going to solve anything → cheating always is in advance versus anti-cheat systems.
Maybe a system similar to what uses Riot Games on Valorant, would limit many players to use cheats, yet there is still a possibility to cheat.
