Top tier vs low tier and people buy verhicles they like of course. Leopard and M1 are popular verhicles in game and irl do.
Sure, but if you want to buy them because you like them, you better get up there in the real tech tree first… but I guess that goes against the current norm of instant gratification :D

The idea is forcing players to grind verhicles without using prem verhicles/account is difficult and you said rank 3 is obtainable depend the nations because not every nation has equal verhicles to grind out. You said 10h to 20h = 80% victory requirement without using boosters and enough sl to buy the verhicles.
Reach rank 3 needs :
3 vehicules of rank 1 (since you do have at least 2 reserve tanks+the premium vehicule of rank 1 given at arrival in the game) → around 20 battles to have those
6 battles of rank 2 → about 40 battles to have those
= you are now allowed to use a premium over rank 4
A battle is about 15min
→ 60 battles/4 quarters of hours → 15 hours
Not that hard to say that 10 to 20 hours is necessary,… and you can still reduce it by buying a rank 3 or 4 at that time, if you think you’re good enough to
I also forgot the premium vehicule of Rank 1 given to new players → so you do have 3 vehicule when you start to grind.

Also Silverlions to have such tanks is pretty damn low as you start with 200k Sl
→ so NO,… i’m not making it impossible to do,…
(I also use the startegy of many competitive games today, not allowing you to enter Rank modes until you have done a number of normal games → this kinda similar to it)

And yes → trollsquad issues should be looked at and limited, as followed, within a squad:
- Rank 8 can’t be matched with vehicules under Rank 5
- Rank 7 can’t be matched with vehicules under Rank 4
- Rank 6 can’t be matched with vehicules under Rank 3
- Rank 5 can’t be matched with vehicules under Rank 2

Trollsquad is currently so anachronical that it destroys my immersion in the game, and Realism of the game.
All rewards based on BR/level can be reworked aswell → not hard to do.

The One-Spawner problem is discussions now for years. And it won’t change. People can buy tanks at any BR, if the have any other tanks or not. So get use to it.
Pretty much half of them,i would say, as a “good player” definition is really depending on anyone,…
For exemple, many people thinks that Mikegoesboom or Phlydaily are really good players when most of the time they show only the good moments, and/or, they show some “specific” and “unreliable” ways of playing
Best exemple would be to fly low with some aircraft with bombs and force a head-on to kill the guy with said bombs right after he got behind you? (Phly did that)
There is also the fact that most of those CC are used as Advertisment, therefore they try to hype you for some vehicules → telling you thing you wanna hear, when in reality it’s a bit different.
Same when i hear from some CC
→ Mirage 4000 is a nice addition
→ F-15A is a beast to be reckonned for every fights
Those are 2 different ways to say the same “it’s a good aircraft” but in the way to lead you to one of those (F-15A in this case)
I’m not gonna push it more forward as it could give gaijin ideas to break partnerships with some of them (and i don’t wanna get someone business in trouble)
But don’t say that CC people are usually good players because that’s not true.
Good player - gets at least 2 or more K/D with most of the tanks (i dont play air or naval, so ikd about the situation there).
Phly and the Mike guy pretty much satisfy that criteria.

I haven’t watched phly in about a year, but he plays very passively and tends not to do objectives. I stopped watching him specifically because his content was falling into a pattern of w-keying to a goblin hole, side shotting about 5 tanks while talking about random things, and ending the video. I like watching Nukenus, Hunter, and Spookston nowadays.
I also stopped watching him for a few years now. Idk why, i guess his videos were not entertaining. But he still knows how to play well. Doing what you described is still more to the vicotry than what these wallet warriors do.

I believe you lacked insights into what “cherry picking” means in this context. I do not intend to sound harsh or overly blunt here, but several creators have stated in their content that their videos do not show true in-game performance. Furthermore, since the majority of them have their nickname “hidden” in their videos, you have no idea what their full stats are unless you have some of them added (so do you?). Obviously, I am not going to start naming individuals here since it is not allowed.
Furthermore, as @Cpt_Bel_V has already stated, if you want to “restrict” the playing options of newbies using high-tier premium in matches, the meme (he mentioned trollsquad, but I am not going to use that word as I thought it sounded a bit harsh) squad should experience similar “restriction” as well. Based on my experience in mid- to mid-high-BR battles (which I mostly play), meme players do not outperform in their teams when compared to novice players. In reality, the majority of them are eliminated early in the match without getting a single kill and leave the game practically immediately. Obviously, you will be unaware of this since you have not participated in enough realistic battles to be aware of it.
Finally, some level 100 players perform similarly to newbies. If you are going to put a “restriction” on something, you might as well put all “restrictions” on anything related to make things fair.

Sorry someone left the screen door open. At 100 and as old as the game is I’m far from who I was, so my performance is totally random (mostly bad lol) why bother playing if I’m terrible ? because I enjoy playing with friends or possibly meeting new friends. Br’s, levels blah blah some play for the historical feel some want the exciting 3 min missile fights. I have no problem with peeps bring in something like one or 2 brs below the fights average most of these guys are truly grinding , yet still get greif. The only one thats needs a time out is the Abrams that brought his pet m22 to the fight… lol just my thoughts.
I believe you lacked the insights into what “checking somebody’s stats” means in this context. I do not intend to sound harsh or overly blunt here, but i have checked many CC’s stats i know of, and all of them are at least decent (but generally good). I did so when their names were not hidden.
Even if i can not check them (since nick hiding was introduced), when you watch a video of somebody, especially if it is live commented, you can easily spot if someone genuenly plays well, and you can spot those, who just get lucky, and have a good match.
Also, if i am correct, you can still find an anonimized player via replays, and then get the player ID from it.
Why do i have to always repeat myself:
So you can’t bring a low BR tank into a high BR match via a squad or just placing it into your lineup in arcade. Well, you learn something every day…

Why not ban then aviation? Only certified, and trained personal can fly planes, yet (excluding mechanical issues) there are plenty of airplane accidents where they have happened by the pilot’s faults.
So why not ban planes?
Oh, there are cases where highly trained medical professionals messed up, and the patient died? Guess we should ban healthcare then!
There have been some nuclear accidents? Ban the use of nuclear, since the reactors are controlled by trined professionals, yet they exploded several times! Or they even can become nukes!4!4!4!4 (i know they can’t)
Let me list a few more: cheical accidents, where those things were handled by trined professionals, engineering failures, legal failures, and a whole more!
Restrictions will NOT provide 100% safety. But they reduce the harm by an insane amount.
Yes, your drivers license will not guarantee that you never crash. but it greatly reduces the chance.
For example, i have a mate, with whom we send random unknown youtubers’ videos, that play like trash. Even if they have a good game, you can almost instantly see that their general performance is bad.
