Does the USA have any viable 14.3 jets that won't be DOA?

maybe, but if so you were wrong so idk why you would bring it up

The claims of the F-22 winning 6 times, or that the Rafale started on the F-22’s rear, or that the F-22 had fuel tanks, are all wrong and we already discussed this.

lol

says the guy who tried to use a stretched image to buff rafale radar gimble limits

I already had written primary sources showing the buffed gimbal limits are correct regardless. There’s no point for you to continue nonsense even when I already presented you a video of two former American F-18/F-18 pilots that disputed your claims.

wow, about as bad of a source as you obviously edited images

someone who doesnt fly the plane, wasnt involved in the exercise, and has a rivalry with the people who use the F22

but because it looks good for your ugly plane you treat it like gospel

and no you didnt, you had iffy vague claims at best

The Rafale’s own dashcam video proves your claim false anyway, and its obvious you hadn’t watched that otherwise you wouldn’t have made the claim it started on the F-22’s rear (which would show the F-22 right in front of the Rafale at the beginning if your claim was true).

I think it’s clear you have an agenda here and there’s no point in continuing this discussion.

LMAO,

you understand there is this thing known as not releasing the full footage right?

no its clear that you have an agenda here and that you should just leave

OMG jesus just because the rafale beat an f22 in a simulated dogfight does not mean anything. You guys seriously think gaijin gonna take this video source and on purpose make the rafale beat the f22 in every dogfight. This is legit two human beings flying jets. There’s so many factors to think of here.

its DS

if the rafail doesnt auto win every fight in less than 2 seconds its underpreforming according to him

Well this ins’t going anywhere and its complete BS. Let him live in delulu land with this video. Judge planes by hard stats and capablities that are well established.

To be fair there’s literal written statements that says the gimbal was increased from 60 to 70 for rafale when it was upgraded to aesa radar,
That one stretched image isn’t the only source for it having a 70 degree aesa

Of course the video doesn’t matter at all in the grand scheme of things, but there’s no point in people lying about the video.

The video was initially released because the Americans claimed the F-22 won 6-0 against the Rafale, with 5 more as a draw with zero losses. The French ‘Shot Down’ U.S. Stealth Fighter | by David Axe | Trench Art | Medium

This led to the French releasing the dashcam footage of the Rafale defeating the F-22, calling into account the whole claim since the claim was it went undefeated. If they lied about one part, why wouldn’t they lie about others.

Also, people in this very thread are speculating the F-22 had fuel tanks when the video actually shows the F-22 without fuel tanks. The video also shows the F-22 starting side by side with the Rafale.

In the end, the video doesn’t actually matter, but let’s not have people lying about trivial things.

honestly the stretched image isnt even the worst

oh yeah lets just index this HUD footage to 50% percent fuel, ignore that it shows how much fuel it really had

And of course, another one that cannot show any discernment. Should I even bother with why you’re wrong or let someone else do it?

Just stop talking about the video. It provides no new information on any of the jets. If people can’t even trust US and france’s claims, I don’t even think this makes these videos trustworthy at all. All you see is a rafale locking on a raptor. That’s it.

Yeah that one was egregious. Frame by frame analysis my arse, if they actually did that then they would be probably caught it

yeah

and then arguing about bingo fuel being close to 50% despite the HUD footage showing what it was set to

I think Zephyr actually just made a mistake it seems, he’s not one I would call overly optimistic and has been someone that has consistently downplayed the Rafale’s flight performance capabilities when I presented him sources since he was our flight model guy. But it’s a bit amusing when people keep assuming I made the report.
