The dogfight footage is an indicator of performance, not that it’s going to be used as a source.
F-22’s performance is going to be worse than people expect.

Rafale HUD footage showing it’s “shooting down” the F-22 after the US claimed that the F-22 was undefeated against the Rafale and never got shot down forcing the French to release this footage.

AFAIK the French released it as American lied about the score of 6-0 something like that but the actual score were 6-1 as shown by the hud

The problem is, if they lied about the F-22 being undefeated against the Rafale, then any other claim they made isn’t worth its salt.
Could you also share the full video. I only was able to find a video when raptor was infront of it and did not show the full dogfight
Here’s a video where a former US F-18 and former US F-16 analyzed the dogfight video from their experience of having done dogfights themselves, the dogfight video is half of the info you have, the other half they fill it in for the viewers that pieces together the puzzles.

the first clip of the video shown clearly shows the rafale already in an advantageous position
its almost like it started in such a position…
Ignore Alpharius @exeisdefeatable, the first clip shown was simply just a preview of the fight, not the actual beginning of the dogfight. You can see the beginning of the dogfight at 7:30 of the video where the Rafale pilot says “Turn in, fights on”. The former US pilot also repeats this and explains what “turn in, fights on” means as he breaks down the video and explains that they’re starting the fight side by side.
also ignore DS who happens to leave out how almost all the commentary is about how the F22 pilot lost sight of the rafale and that it is very obvious from what is happening
with a bit about how something is weird about the audio in the released video and how it does not include comms from the F22
and also the bit where there is a non zero chance the rafale lost due to going below the floor
also the “kill” happening after it was called off

they tested HMD in 2010s iirc and if the Rafale can get it the Raptor better get it too

Gaijin also gave the Rafale HMD despite not having it for a while on the model depicted in game, so I doubt that the F-22 will come without it.
