What’s the deal with why the Ikv 103 change was removed? It’s not a good vehicle but the HEAT-FS shell is a common Tier VI HEAT-FS shell with lower velocity… at 4.0. Changing it to a lower battle rating without the HEAT-FS was a good idea, IMO, it would’ve been better balanced.
The HEAT shell is legitimately all its good for. Removing that you may as well remove the vehicle.
At that BR I do agree, but I would argue it would be fine at a lower BR with the stock HEAT shell. The Sav m/43 (1946) has the same HEAT shell at 3.0, though with much better armor. I think it would be better to have the Ikv 103 be a more mobile and less armored alternative to that, avoiding putting the HEAT-FS so low in BR.

yes let’s keep buffing jets and downtiering them so the game just becomes as compressed as a diamond. I also think 9.0s should face AIM-9Ms

its a buff, you might as well bring up the fact the F-4E had AIM-9Ms in real life.
If you think an fgr with 9ls would be better than a tonka f.3? I have the ej kai and i love it but the ONLY reason its 12.3 is due to its 7fs and has nothing to do with its 9ls (even then its a bit of a stretch to say its even 12.3 worthy).
I think the fgr should be given them to put it on par with other 12.0 phantoms as skyflash dogfights are by no means on par with 7fs. Either that or give them superTEMPS as im pretty sure they were at least tested on an fgr.
I think a good middle ground would be to give the fg 9ls and the fgr 9ls and super temp and move it up to 12.3 if needed. Although i dont know if the fg ever got 9ls.

We don’t need to keep advocating for compression. We really don’t.
Is that why the F-4S is 12.0? The EJ Kai is 12.3 because it has 9Ls+F-16 radar+internal gun. It’s just massively power crept by compression.
I think the real solution is to decompress and move the F-4S up one BR step. Though this community loves advocating for the downfall of the game by constantly begging for more and more compression.

Frankly, these br changes are probably going to be the thing that makes me quit WT permanently. The game was barely fun with my favorite lineup, and now they ruin it for no apparent reason. why the hell did the jumbo have to go up? its already facing early cold war vehicles and things with HEAT at 5.3, you have to aim for specific weak spots with the 75mm, and somehow i keep getting penned in more and more places by stuff at the 5.3 br. ive had my jumbo front plate penned frontally by an avenger MULTIPLE times, and no not mg port or at a poor angle, straight up flat frontal shot at the armor’s intended angle. im sorry if the jumbo makes the german/soviet mains who refuse to learn weakspots and hide their own mad, atp get good, dont drag the jumbo even higher. 5.3 gets uptiered almost every game anyways, so why tf make one of the best/most fun USA lineups uneven and more uptier prone???

Im all for f4s getting moved up, i just believe itll be easier moving the moon than getting that to happen hence why i want the British phantoms getting 9l.
The ej kai is 12.3 due to the “better” radar and 7fs. I can count on my hand the amount of kills ive gotten with 9ls using it compared to just using the gun or 7fs. But that may just be my luck playing into it as i have an uncanny ability to always fire as soon as the enemy fires their own missile leading to my missile going for theirs… And this isnt uncommon for me as it generally happens 3 to 4 times a game.
Ive gotta disagree, the jumbo is perfectly fine where it is. Things a bloody monster. Also, obviously the 17pdr is going right through your ufp mate, its a 17pdr. Only thing i hate in it are russian 85mm as they shouldn’t be going through but dont care.
You have two choices. Either you can advocate for the best course which is to decompress, or you can accept that gaijin isn’t going to buff the british phantoms either. That’s it. That’s the two choices.
The radar is undeniably far superior. Please do not pretend it isn’t.
It is better, just not THAT much better.
Just wait until it starts facing Tiger 2 no1-50, and Jagpanther more often. Armor will be next to useless and of course it uses a p-shooter.
And no heavy now for the 5.3 lineup.

Facing Tiger 2 and Jagpanther in a Jumbo is a joke.
There’s too many enemies at 6.3+ that can destroy the Jumbo head-on, and it’s weak 75mm gun that was introduced on BR 3.3 vehicles is in no way suited for the BR range it will now be fighting in.

Track and barrel torture, that short stab is potent.
If that’s all players in Jumbo have to look forward to it’s pretty sad.
And Tiger 2, after being tracked, wipes out the Jumbo, then repairs…
