The only benefit of BMPT is that it allows me to rest earlier.
I cannot.
I don’t have any secret behind the scenes information so this below is just things i’ve seen here on the forum:
As far as i understand it the Community Managers look through the forums regularly to gather feedback and compile the bigger discussions into shorter main points to then bring to the developers. In regards to the BMPT i think they are very much already aware of the communitys comments and reactions to it.
If you want to discuss the vehicle then use this thread: ( BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3 )
As they said in the 24’th Dec update post:
and as they usually say in the patch note posts:
In addition to that there has also been the holidays and vacation times which would logically also delay updates and changes in general. The BR change for the BMPT happened on the 24’th of December, that’s just two and a half weeks ago, i personally think that’s barely enough time to see any changes in data and then add holidays and vacation times on top of that.
that a bad word mister.
In my opinion, all aspect capability is much better than the 9Js. Both will get 1 flared and the 60M pulls more. It’s only slightly bested in range but none of them are great at that.
frontal aspect R-60Ms do not get kills. Navy sidewinders get kills by virtue of long range
The R-60 doesn’t even have half the range of the navy sidewinders
Are you sure you’re not talking about the Aim-9H on the F-4S and not the Aim-9J on the F-4J? The Aim-9J/P won’t go out to 4km even with a Mach 1.1 launch. In contrast with the 9H that I’ve gotten to go 6.5km rear aspect from above at around Mach 1.2.
Why would a Navy F-4J have an airforce AIM-9J? It uses the AIM-9G in game.
You’re right, but the 9G isn’t really known for it’s range so I don’t really see your point…
I would say given my experience, the experience of friends after talking to them, the rising amount of complaints, the comment thread in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TroKPbxhtFg&t=3s , almost every content creators calling it overpowered and other colorful names - the br change was unsuccessful, it’s still busted - 9.7 to 11.7 is a no go zone.
Range Is pretty much the aim9G entire selling point
Out of the ^trends^ , but :
I’m in a 7,7 game …ARB. What’s the 300 iq idea of F-84G having airspawn and Spitfire 24 having to take off and climb.
Serious brains there. And we expect you to do ^something ^ correct… not possible, any BR/rank whatever it seems…
Yeah for it’s single digit BR planes… It’s just an Aim-9J but with Aim-9(E?) gimbal limits and 2 less G.
Yes… it is?
No…?
AIM-9G quite literally has its engine on for over 2x the length of time the AIM-9J’s is
frontal aspect R-60Ms do very much get kills if you surprise the enemy with a 0.8-0.9km launch
The R-60 has 59.8% the range of the navy sidewinders
Maybe 1 in 20 shots. Extremely easy to flare.
Based on?
Cool. I guess I misremembered what the Aim-9G was like.
Still doesn’t give them all aspect capability. Still doesn’t make them more than 1 flare to decoy. And it still doesn’t make their almost half G pull of the 60M worth more.
All aspect capability is not some gotcha I win button. The 9G is still overall superior to the R-60M. Range matters far more to hit unsuspecting people than point blank all aspect shots.
BR changes suggestion:
AMX A-1A in ARB to → 10.7
BMPT and BMPT-72 in GRB and GSB to → 11.3
2S38 in GRB and GSB to → 10.7
Me 262 A-1a and Me 262 A-1a/Jabo in GRB to ->6.7
Fix the AIM-120c balance, they work not really well compare to R-77 or Mica.
and add more preset options. This time 18 is the max, but with the decompress methods we got multiple lineups, so at least for bigger nations 20 would be good (or 22 the best)
