seeing the difference isn’t as much work as making the console calculate and display it
since Penetration and damage to a vehicls are calculated on the server side you don’t need to have the same amount of deformation on all platforms, it’s enough to have the amount that your platform can handle
ok yes I know that but it’s not simply a issue of the console version of the game not being able to display it like PC, it’s only the PS4 and PS5 version(that video was recorded on my PS5) it’s not like the playstations can’t do it it just seems like a weird thing that’s been messed up for nearly 2 years now, this also wouldn’t be as much of a deal to me if they had ever mentioned that it wouldn’t be equal when it was first shown off but it never was, I’ve put in now 3 separate reports of this with the 2 older ones being essentially ignored entirely
I hope this week’s dev server updates being at least a couple new Top Tier MBTs, AND/OR currently ingame MBT armor (Abrams, Leclerc, Merkava, Challenger) and mobility (Leclerc, Type 10) fixes, apart from ZTZ-99A’s…
Agreed. The engine usually serves only to create more shrapnel and burn. The armour is cardboard. The gun is good and the mobility is generally good for its sixe but it’s just horribly big glass cannon.
This is so weird… suddenly, they add 10+ Top Tier jets, but not a single MBT except for a 70€ Premium…
And of ALL MBTs that have issues, they only fix ZTZ-99A’s (not even all other Chinese MBTs, so far, which have the same issues)…
So yeah, I will have my hopes in regards to this week’s Dev updates, hahah. At least make SEPv2’s TUSK optional and give it M829A3 so that it feels like an upgrade in SOME way, give the Abrams their volumetric turret ring, fix Type 10 and Leclerc’s mobility (acceleration and turning speed loss and acceleration, respectively) and give Merkava Mk.4 (and Namer) some sort of meaningful protection…
