I want to get the preemptive grind in china before the J-10 so should I go A-5C and talisman the J-7E when I get to it or just grind straight through with the J-7D?

Last time I checked the A-5C couldn’t get a base with its loadout (also, just 18 CMs at 10.3, ouch), so I’d go for the J-7D

yeah, you get 3/4 of a base with bombs and rockets and that is if you can get there

Yeah I was thinking that too because it’s only like 10 dollars more and I don’t have to stock grind the J-7E

Personally, I’m not really a fan of MiG-21s, but the J-7E would most likely still be a much better grinder.

If we factor in aesthetics tho, I would buy the A-5C 100%

Totally lol the camo is beautiful on that bad boy

I haven’t even played my US high tier lineup that much the last weeks. Mostly Israel, Russia, Italy and Britain between 10.3 and 11.7 and almost every time I saw a DU abrams, hull down or not, I just shot it’s turret ring and it said pop and died.

That is mostly what I was going off with my earlier comment.

funny how we got Ace Combat in War Thunder before GTA6

Speaking off I feel like the Vark is the T-90 all over again.

Um. In the plans? There is no point in adding everything at once, otherwise what will you add in the future?
Let’s play a game. We’ll list all the commonwealth’s equipment in the game.
UK
HMCS Brantford, HMCS Terra Nova, HMAS Nepal, HMAS Tobruk, HMNZS Leander, Rooivalk Mk1F, Wirraway, Boomerang Mk.I, Boomerang Mk.II, Beaufort Mk.VIII, Beaufighter Mk.21, Strikemaster Mk.88, Jaguar IS, MiG-21 Bison, F-111C, Hunter FGA.9, JAS39C, Matilda Hedgehog, A.C. Mark IV, OF 3.7 inch AA, Centurion Mk.5/1, Vijayanta, Bhishma, Skink, ADATS. AAAAAAAAAAAND (take a deep inhale) SARK Mk.IV, SARK Mk.IV 2pdr, SARK Mk.IV 6pdr, Concept 3, Ratel 20, Ratel 90, G6, Eland, ZA-35, Roolat 105, Rooikat Mk.ID, Rooikat MTTD, Olifant Mk.1, Olifant Mk.2, TTD.
Technicly Sunderland Mk.V and Vickers Mk.11 its also australian vehicle, but in game they have UK flag, so it’s not count.
USA
M1A1 AIM, Grand I, M4A5
Germany
Leopard 2A4M
And what we have ~40 vehicles in UK tech tree, 3 in USA and 1 in Germany. Ok. South Africa it’s official subtree. Let’s wipe out SA vehicle from the list - more then 20 vehicle left.
Maybe I missed something, but in general this is the picture.
So. You still think what AIM it’s valid argument aganist adding to UK tech tree vehicle from Canada, India, Australia and New Zealand? C’mon. They are already there. The only thing that now prevents gaijins from adding commonwealth technology is the lack of intentions to do so. There are already precedents and there are a LOT.

I mean I don’t see as much opposition to it. Heck I’d say it’s been welcomed by majority of the people playing the UK.

Compared to playing the T-90 which had majority of the players opposition to it.

Neither are Australian. They are both British.

The Leopard C2 MEXAS and Class 3 P exist.

India is the only nation out of those that is a sub nation, so, for the others, yes, it is a valid argument.

In the plans, huh? You know that announcement was made almost a full year ago now, right?
You mean to tell me they couldn’t find a single tank used by a commonwealth nation to copy paste in that time?
They threw away the 2A4M CAN as a possibility, which is one of the reasons why these discussions even exist. There is no consistency, they don’t seem to follow up on their plans, they even introduced another subtree/nation to Britain in the meantime, one that doesn’t even fit.

They tell us that Australia and Canada aren’t subtrees, that their vehicles can go wherever needed or appropriate. The 2A4M would have been needed in the British tree according to the announcement they made when they dropped the Bhishma Devblog, yet it went to Germany.

The F-111K was said to not be necessary, due to the Tornado existing and there being other British planes that had higher priorities, only to then turn around and act like the F-111K never had been an option and introduce the F-111C as if there actually was a need for an Aardvark in the British tree, when there really wasn’t one.

@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to bother you again with another ping, but are changes to the F-111F’s Countermeasures planned? I saw on the bug report for it that it was acknowledged and was stated to be a “known issue”, but I didn’t know if the changes were gonna be implemented before the update came out (or if they were even planned in the first place)…
