Dance of Dragon - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Ingame it doesnt, dunno if it has liner IRL

Was talking about in-game, yea. IRL it has them in the turret from what I know.

I cope so

together with its and 2PL’s spall liners

I think it was for both turret and hull

Finally had time to re-think my initial thoughts on the Harrier II prem, and my only question is: why?

Neither can rely on their armor and survivability, they are both easy to pen and 1 shot kill. The Mobility is comparable. The M1A1 has a better reload and the 2A4M has better thermals and a CITV.

Because the US doesn’t have enough premium attackers yet

The thing is, there was already a better Prem Harrier II choice, that being the original Day Attack model
Literally the same as the Night Attack, just no built-in FLIR or top-mounted CM buckets

Nah, that one will be the next US event plane

Welp, guess I’ll be grinding/GE’ing that event as well :(

nah cant happen. its a UK plane should be in the UK tech tree. sorry had to be done i am joking.

An M1 with a DU turret cannot rely on its armor? Sorry Renzo, as much as I respect you, that’s just cope. At least M1s have good enough turrets to stop all KE rods coming at them head-on, and even from off-angles they’re good enough to stop basically everything that isn’t a DM53 shot from the L/55, 2A4M CAN has a Leclerc-level turret front last I checked (~580 - 600mm). Out of the two, M1 can rely on its armor far more than the CAN can.

Not to mention, since Gaijin had increased spall generation on Leopard 2 hulls, M1s did become better at surviving frontal engagements compared to spall-liner-less Leo 2s.

Understandable (my brain is fried please help me)

The US did not use 15" naval guns, they went up in 2" increments whereas the UK went up in 1.5" increments (planned on G 3 until Washington treaty limited that too).

But I agree about France.

Not sure how good Colorado would be, on one hand, the American ammunition layout is horrible, on the other hand, the armour is quite good if you can’t pen the barbette.

Huh. Funny. I remember it different. “vehicles”, not “tanks”

This is simply a fact that you need to accept - the gaijin will add a vehicle to the commonwealth if they deem it necessary. I’m not sure that I remember where I recently heard/read this, but the essence of what I heard/read is that all Indian technology will end up in the British tech tree. Like a part of the Commonwealth.
Your entire speach can be read diagonally as “dont wonna the brits hav toys. i wonna them saffa”. C`mon, your butthurt for the last 2-3 days is just ridiculous.

First and foremost, we’d like to let you know the reasons as to why we’re going to be adding this vehicle to the British tree. Britain’s top-tier MBTs are generally niche and are typically geared towards methodical combat engagements. Because of this, additional export MBTs and other vehicles that have ties to some Commonwealth nations will allow for more options and new approaches to Britain’s gameplay. We’d like to note that we are continuing to work on filling the British ground forces tree, which will include various armored, infantry fighting vehicles, and light tanks. These are planned for the future.

Where are those tanks tho?
