Found it. It was a project with call name “Samota” “Soitude”. It was suppose to work with a radar. Project was on going from 1958 to 1959 where it was stoped due to development of missles AA systems.

It does, but no triple racks makes the agm65d better overall imo.

No, for ground RB it won’t be better than the AV-8B+. Even if it gets GPS guided weaponry it’ll be questionable at best.

Ruskie mostly plays air sim, in which the A-10C is at least somewhat usable. Even though it will likely be around BR 12.0 in air as well.
For ground RB it’s mostly just because it’s iconic irl, for capabilities nobody should really be hyped for it.
HMD, MAWS, Thermal TGP, AIM-9Ms, much better ordnance. If it gets the SDBs it should have id consider it better than the AV-8B. Launching GPS munitions by lobing them over mountains to deal with SPAA is much easier in an A-10.
