:DDD
Also missing the QF 3.7 Ram for Britain
In the plans, huh? You know that announcement was made almost a full year ago now, right?
You mean to tell me they couldn’t find a single tank used by a commonwealth nation to copy paste in that time?
They threw away the 2A4M CAN as a possibility, which is one of the reasons why these discussions even exist. There is no consistency, they don’t seem to follow up on their plans, they even introduced another subtree/nation to Britain in the meantime, one that doesn’t even fit.
They tell us that Australia and Canada aren’t subtrees, that their vehicles can go wherever needed or appropriate. The 2A4M would have been needed in the British tree according to the announcement they made when they dropped the Bhishma Devblog, yet it went to Germany.
The F-111K was said to not be necessary, due to the Tornado existing and there being other British planes that had higher priorities, only to then turn around and act like the F-111K never had been an option and introduce the F-111C as if there actually was a need for an Aardvark in the British tree, when there really wasn’t one.
@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to bother you again with another ping, but are changes to the F-111F’s Countermeasures planned? I saw on the bug report for it that it was acknowledged and was stated to be a “known issue”, but I didn’t know if the changes were gonna be implemented before the update came out (or if they were even planned in the first place)…
I mean it’s this is a first non pure Australian tech being added to the UK.
I’m not against it just seems like it’s following India.
Adds tech that is modded from UK things.
Matilda Hedgehog (AUS) - Jagar IS (IND)
Added Unique things
A.C I (AUS) - Vijayanta (IND)
Then added tech from other countries
F-111C (AUS) - T90S (IND)
Then announces the sub tree via a second non UK tech.
India via Bison - Australia (?)
Ships and aircraft have different standards and that’s been made clear for a very long time now since some of the earlier Naval developer Q&A when we started to introduce cruisers and battleships.
Incomplete aircraft are only considered as a last resort when there is no other reasonable alternative close. In this case, the reasonable alterative for the F-111K here is the F-111C. It was clear there was demand for an Aardvark in the British tree, so the best alternative was found with the C as the need for it to ever be present in the American tree was going to be satisfied with the F.
Incomplete ships were already outlined as a distinct possibility for some nations as ship completion / circumstances are very different to aircraft.
Looks like I’m about to get a smack lol
nvm kek
At this point I just want Gaijin to add australia as a British sub just to end this moaning
The report was only forwarded yesterday. As you can imagine, its the weekend currently, so we wont have many answers flowing on the next major that haven’t already been determined.
There isn’t really a lot of people moaning about the F-111C at all. Many people are quite happy to see it.
Naturally there is always going to be some disagreement with practically every addition in some way. You cant please every last person, but we will at least aim for the majority.
I know and I’m one of them happy people
I can name names but I’m not gonna do that here.
True true, oh speaking of why does Mike keep saying AM for Japan when speaking about the F-16 ?
Is he talking about the Belgium one or is there another F-16 planned for Japan ?
Please check the second part of that statement for your answer:
“We’d like to note that we are continuing to work on filling the British ground forces tree, which will include various armored, infantry fighting vehicles, and light tanks. These are planned for the future.”
At the time when the T-90 was added, we made it clear that our immediate priority was going to be other domestic British vehicles. In this case it was the Vickers Mk 11, Fox, Challenger 3 TD, Desert Warrior and Stormer AD.
People were at the time making it very clear this was what they wanted to be the priority (lights / IFVs and domestics), and we continued to follow that. Those further commonwealth vehicles are still within our longer term plans. This article was simply outlining our long term and short term plans for the British tree.
I believe this was just some confusion with the AJ / F-15 and Belgian AM.
I hope this gets fixed, the angled/trunked Japanese funnels are so cool.
Oh, well that odd since he also said it again in text that made it look like there was a second unknown F-16 for Japan.

Just that I want to nail it in the head before people falsely confirms a second F-16 is planned.
Can we expect any further Israeli Aircraft with Dance of Dragons?
Nah, the budget for Israel was barely enough for that fantasy spec Barak
Honestly, the developers could have added the supposed F-111K livery (skin) as an option for the recent Australian F-111C, and that would have resolved further disputes…
There no disputes since America is in no need for it what so ever
Personally, while I no longer play the US nor do I play the UK, I think it’s preferable for it to be in the US tree because the UK didn’t need it and all this does is split up the Australian top tier vehicles.
