Blame the German mains telling be they need the 2A4M CAN as they couldn’t get anything like it. Because it’s one of a kind

It’s not even like the alternative has to look & perform the exact same way as well. I for one, would’ve been far more happy with any of the TVMs (because they’re all straight up better and thus the whales wouldn’t be as much of an issue).

Sweden didn’t adopt the IVT or TVM max/min as they were, Strv 122 actually has some differences to them too. The only tree they can be fit into (really) is Germany, but yea, Gaijin and their fondness of Sweden.

Okay, now scroll up to where I said they’re all better (IVT is quite close in performance to the 2A4M CAN anyways, it being heavier, having only 1st gen thermals, and I wouldn’t mind it being limited to just DM33 for the sake of all the US mains, but sure, we can go even lower and there’s always the KVT which was just a 2A4 with the wedge add-on).
On that topic, why would they need to be “close to 2A4Ms performance”? M1A1 HC is at 11.3 and I’d say it’s straight up better.
My brain is trying so hard to understand the reasoning behind the Commonwealth vehicle placements, especially after the Bhishma.
The only thing that I can come up with is that they seem to avoid being consistent with their decisions. Like, if I apply the reasoning behind the F-111C, then why did the Abrams AIM not go to both the US and Britain? The US operated the AIM too…

You are forgetting that HC is a US vehicle. Also IVT has hull armor so its a no go for a premium, even DM33 limited.

The jab directed at US players, I like, but I don’t get the “has actual hull armor = can’t be a premium”. I’m guessing… sarcasm about how Gaijn once said that they would never introduce premiums better than TT equivalents… or?
