The armor is the same, the mobility and sights are the only real difference. What I really meant is that we don’t need another uparmored Leo wreaking more havoc at top tier.
I would prefer the Visegrad 4 instead of adding everything to the soviet tech tree

There is a high chance of the Strv 123 appearing in one of the upcoming patches btw.
You might argue that the 2A7V is currently better than the 122 because of the optics and DM53, but the 122 is definitely superiour to any backup that Germany or Italy can bring out after it.
(And Sweden when the Strv 123B (Swedish Designation for the 2A8) is delivered in 2028-2031.)

Granted some are modified or used to bulk the naval tree (or were added before the China tree and are now hard to obtain) and I see no issue with those but still. Five of the vehicles haven’t even been given to the nations who made them.
Also there’s quite a lot of USA, German and British vehicles given to other trees as well as some French and Japanese equipment.

I get what yoy tryna say, but those are some event machinery, WW2 trophies with which i have no problem if made premiums in other nations as we have in germany and sweden, and low rank machines that for sure are great, but dont really “complete the tree’s experience”.
And most of all, those are premiums copies of which dont exist in research tree of USSR.
First and foremost, copies of USSR are now (and in future Korean tree and Greece Subtree) wil be free of charge in research, “filling gaps”. USSR players did not get same treament in return - they didnt get the Centauro or Freccia when the Sweden got t-80. They didnt get any competitive MBT (either M1 or Leopard, even tho their lineup consists of literally single competitive tank if we dont count premiums) when sweden or france got 2a6, ect.
sure is. France gets copypastes, Britain gets them, i would be okay with Japan getting such but then its Sweden that somehow needs copypastes, and Germany somewhy gets USSR machinery, but when its USSR its somehow bad. Yeah.

I’m no fan if the copy paste trophies (modded are unique additions) but East Germany definitely helps prevent the tree from becoming empty space in air later on where Switzerland and West Germany can’t cover.
While correct on ground and air, both the Cavour and Revenge classes are TT though that’s more understandable due to lack of options (+ the Cavour had soviet 37mm guns added).
That also goes for USA, UK, and Germany too (although several vehicles are local mods). Also iirc the T-34 and T-80U mods that Cyprus did are unique to it alone. Kinda depends what they do for Korea but this is gajin, they love copy paste.
Neither did any tree that ain’t Sweden or China. Even then most people disapprove of both the Oplot M and T-80U squadron stuff
My main issue is Czechoslovakia has the ability to be one of the largest ground trees in game with barely any copy paste and having it relegated to bring copy paste would be very disappointing. That and the USSR has a huge tree in air and ground with 5 lines and still has quite a few remaining options even from USSR and RF alone. India was added when UK had 5 lines and the only TT vehicles are a copy paste osa and strela 10. Now imagine trying to slot Czechoslovakian stuff while following the line and tier rules.

i mean, they offer BMP and T-72A (could also offer t-55 and T-62 but i wish it never will happen as enough USSR copypastes already exists that maks USSR tree look pale), i dont use neither in my lineups just to make the experience unique. They dont really need those additions. Maybe later jets are needed tho im not so sure about that as i rarely play air at that ranks, but in my opinion the poorly armed MiG-19 is not needed, as much as MiG-15. the LIM-5 is okay as its unique version of MiG

Tho the britain mostly gave away the low tier machinery again. Yes, they also gave away Centurion 3s, but thats all. Most of the Centurion clones out there are unique (strv104s, shot kal`s), not the case with T-72Ms
Germany… Also is miserable tbh as they gave away tons of Leopards, but at least they gain many event rewards that are unique machinery.
And USA only gave away pattons and shermans, sounds not that bad for me. And USSR now would give away a T-80Us and BMP-3s. Again striping the good ones but gainin none in return :(

I would gladly see a unique modification, tho it must be not only “engine changed but same output” but some overhaul - changed cannons, armor or some valid stuff.
thats biggest concern. Both Koreas have huge potential, they may and should offer unique mods of the techs. But knowing gaijin? They`ll prolly just copypaste USSR and US machinery and make two to three unique tanks at the top tier, and thats awfull to imply.
the SA subtree was the best of them all, we can clearly see it now. Offered a pack of unique machines, tho most of them weren`t balancely needed they still offered some proper gameplay that didnt ruin any other country.
well, excluding already existing machinery (35t, hetzer, 72a ect) they won`t be such a hassle if you ask me. Tho stil man prototypes to add…

No idea about 25 but 30 has more armour on the dorsal gunner+ can use soviet bombs (but the Chinese version of the 30 proves it can still use American bombs).
Iirc there’s also meteors, vampires and hunters (if we include premium there also the sea fury).
I double checked and it does seem like nothing did change, apparently the only upgrade was the Catherine thermal camera, which I’m pretty sure the USSR already put on T-80/UK. As for the T-34s they used American machine guns (M2/M2HB/M1919) and the wheels that included those used in T-54/55s
I’d say it’s best in variety and helped with gaps (several of which also could’ve been filled by UK lights iirc) although if we go by filling gaps the I’d say Finland (Despite missing almost every unique vehicle out).
Well looking at Tadmats suggestion (which I believe doesn’t include all eligible vehicles), there would have to be some insane reform to fit a good chunk of these
Personally I think the whole nation mechanic and trees should undergo a major rehaul.

We´re reaching a point where tech-trees based on nations don´t make sense anymore. Hence i appreciate the trollish matter on the forum. Best examples are the gamewise idiotic tech-trees from Sweden, China and partly Germany.

Hey. Czechia / Czechoslovakia is not a USSR sub tree.
The vehicles added there so far have either been Soviet in origin (Su-25K, Mi-24D, MIG-23ML) or been from the period of time where they were part of the Warsaw pact and the USSR tree was the most applicable for that vehicle currently (M53/59 and L-39).
Like many other nations that are not a sub tree, thier vehicles may currently go whereever most applicable in game.
A Czech Leopard 2A8 has no relevance to the Soviet tree.
