Nah there’s no real gameplay difference to the 2A7V. In terms of armor the Strv is definitely superiour to the 2A7 and 2A8 already
they dillude the british tree and not the russian one
That cuts both ways, putting Russian stuff into the UK dilutes the uniqueness of BOTH Russia and the UK. That’s just my opinion of course.

I think we are looking at this in 2 different ways. You are seeing “unique” as only stuff from one place, while I’m thinking of it as stuff you cant get anywhere else.
iam not talking about a tree being unique iam talking about a tree having its own destinct identity
the russian trees identity are the t series tanks migs and sukhois
frances identity was that they have the Leclerc which got somewhat destroyed by gaijin copy pasting the leo2 in there

I don’t think this would be a good idea
I gottch, but I still think, even in that regard, that adding those vehicles to other trees dose take some of the identity from the original nation. I get its un avoidable given arms exports and such.
But I agree that adding such opposing stuff as the Indian T-90 etc. to the UK is far more detrimental to the tech trees identity then simply having an export tank in a different tree like say the Japanese F-15s.

they didn’t order it, and they just modernize their old t90 bishma into bishma mk3
The armor is the same, the mobility and sights are the only real difference. What I really meant is that we don’t need another uparmored Leo wreaking more havoc at top tier.
I would prefer the Visegrad 4 instead of adding everything to the soviet tech tree

There is a high chance of the Strv 123 appearing in one of the upcoming patches btw.
You might argue that the 2A7V is currently better than the 122 because of the optics and DM53, but the 122 is definitely superiour to any backup that Germany or Italy can bring out after it.
(And Sweden when the Strv 123B (Swedish Designation for the 2A8) is delivered in 2028-2031.)
