Hey idk if anyone even is interested in something like this but if you didn´t know while in a match you can open the live map in browser and objectives in your browser! But the webpage is… outdated to say the least so i made one that has more features.
I use it for sim as you can just click a base or objective and it tells you what heading, range and ETA to the target.
I showed it a friend and she said i should post it as maybe other sim players could find use in it
This part sounds a bit to much to be honest, this part might be against the rules, the Community Managers will have to answer more definitively though.
Here is a CM’s answer on something similar discussed previously:
I think you’re wrong here, i think it’s very much detectable :P
But that’s beside the point.
I’ll see if i can ping them, i can’t promise a direct answer nor a timeframe if there is an answer though (dev server times, they all are very busy :P).
According to the Terms of Service and End User License Agreement, the use of software that automates gameplay, alters the game’s mechanics or functionality, or provides an unfair advantage over players who do not use such software may result in account suspension.
At the same time, the game provides legitimate support for certain forms of user-generated content, such as sound modifications, custom camouflages or user missions. Additionally, the game exposes more detailed information through the localhost Web UI interface, which may be utilized by third-party applications, e.g. WTRTI. Usage of such exposed data endpoints is generally permissible in forms that cannot be considered an ESP-like overlay. Note that the scope of the exposed data can be subject to change at any time.
We do not provide validation, authorization or endorsement for third-party user made software or hardware solutions - not only such projects are subject to change, but downloading and running user made software is a security risk. As a general principle, players should use common sense when evaluating whether a given tool or setup, that may interact with, interfere with, automate, or otherwise affect gameplay in unintended ways, could provide an illegitimate gameplay advantage.
Regarding the example you provided, based on the project description, it seems permissible and shouldn’t result in account suspension.
