Custom localhost map for air sim

Hey idk if anyone even is interested in something like this but if you didn´t know while in a match you can open the live map in browser and objectives in your browser! But the webpage is… outdated to say the least so i made one that has more features.

I use it for sim as you can just click a base or objective and it tells you what heading, range and ETA to the target.
I showed it a friend and she said i should post it as maybe other sim players could find use in it

Looks interesting, and seems to include features I’d actually have hoped get included in the game maps since ages.

However, check please if that doesn’t conflict with game rules etc.

It uses all the data from the official warthunder localhost server! I don´t interact with the game in any way or form

All it does is give the already present site a new look and some qol features.
I really hope it´s not an issue :p

This part sounds a bit to much to be honest, this part might be against the rules, the Community Managers will have to answer more definitively though.

Here is a CM’s answer on something similar discussed previously:

( Source: Tools using data provided on port 8111 )

These is also this thread with a different usage of the local host but might still be somewhat relevant: ( HUD with localhost data. Legal or illegal )

Yes but that is about a overlay. Mine is just another browser page

I hope i get an answer… but realistically it is something you technically can not detect in any way or form so uhh

Thank you for the consideration though <3
Do you have a way to get a answer from a CM?

I think you’re wrong here, i think it’s very much detectable :P
But that’s beside the point.

I’ll see if i can ping them, i can’t promise a direct answer nor a timeframe if there is an answer though (dev server times, they all are very busy :P).

Ye that’s fair! Also it´s not like this is time critical. (just pls don´t delete the post :sob: )

Who knows ;3
