Neither need a subtree and Taiwan is the Republic of China, ‘China’ is the People’s Republic of China. Taiwan isn’t a subtree, it is part of the Chinese tree.
China doesn’t have any sub-trees.
They have Pakistani vehicles, but Pakistan isn’t a sub-tree either
Adding Chinese vehicles post-Patton is very much good for the game.
You have to be baiting, because the alternative is worse.
BTW, unironically calling Taiwan a sub-tree is blatant xenophobia.
Some of my dear friends, some. The US government once purchased the J7 fighter jet from the Chinese government as a hypothetical enemy to simulate the Soviet Union’s MiG21. At the same time, there is also joint fighter jet development between China and the United States, known as the “Peace Pearl” (as far as I know, there is still a J8 fighter jet with a nose left in the United States). Although it was not successfully manufactured due to political issues, I believe that this fighter jet can provide a technology tree for both China and the United States in the game (provided that American TT players hope to obtain it)
Yeah, those, just like the CM11 and the M41D would be wonderful additions to the game that would boost diversity and make the game more historically rich and interesting
I really hate the double flags. Are 3 Polands & Canadas really necessary? Why not just put a single flag with the nation they’re most closely associated with? It would cause less confusion and bloat. Also free France isn’t really a national flag, though I would be for war flags and the sort. Some are already in the game i.e. ww2 Germany and ROC. Japan’s removal was completely unnecessary.
Also why do vehicle stats show the flag you picked and not the vehicle’s operator flag?
Customization is nice and I reckon because people wanted sub-nations represented better. Though gaijin themselves caused controversy simply because couldn’t stay apolitical like in the case of the Taiwanese flag not being included.
Company try to be apolitical challenge impossible.
Lazier for them… Now I need to work on the suggestion to fit the new feature…
It’s not a big issue for the most part, but there is a small complication. I also don’t like changing something like this without warning, so I hope I get some more feedback on the planned changes.
Iirc it was confirmed somewhere as well, sometime after the last CM disclosure.
Gaijin really need a better way of indication nation placement than “random forum statement”…
Did you just said Lithuania? Raah

Why can’t I change France to plain white?
Sorry, but no. It would interfere with Afghan flag.
When Kabul was captured in 1996, the Afghan national flag was replaced with a white banner.

Because they don’t allow the use of naval ensigns, especially ones from the 18th century.
Interestingly, in the only part of the new flag mechanic that is visible to other players (operator flags in scoreboard), the ROC-A flag is visible. But when it comes to customizing on the user-side, they have removed it. XD
Gonna have to wait until they add Cugnot’s 1770 Fardier à Vapeur, then you can use the flag of the Kingdom of France, which is white with Fleur-De-Lis.
dont see an issue adding this with other flags like some army flags even so…
and I think israel vehicles are still in the us and french tt and they are still missing
I believe the players deserve an explanation as to why there is still not a Republic of China flag that can be used in the custom flag functionality

Update on my suggestion, it was denied a thread due to being seen as a bit of an unfocused bundle. I’ll be working with the suggestion moderator I DM’d to “un-bundle” it & re-apply.
It is honestly crazy that gaijin would include the flag of apartheid South Africa yet leave out Taiwan
Or Rhodesia, where is the zimbabwean air force hunter gaijin?
Don’t forget the Nazi German war flag (not the national flag) is not only included in the selection but even the main option to represent Germany, while ROC is denied due to being an Army flag. They also have a precedent to swap it for the national flag (Japan got the WWII Army flag changed to the 1870-1999 national flag) as well, so even claiming Germany as a mistake doesn’t justify this.
