I dont see how it could be a glitch? Youre asking/implying that i have somehow just … not been given the proper crew exp that i Should have (?)… i think that is… incredibly unlikely. Its just gaijin being… retarded.
yeah, its still way too low that you gain crew exp tho… Ive heard that you get THREE times as much for AB battles… but why? … it makes no sense… all modes should be the same, and all of them should be greatly increased.
I am being penalized by playing/preferring RB and getting extremely nerfed crew exp amounts… for… literally no reason
Its a long shot but I do have a medal glitch(boo hoo) and its a similar mechanic area. I am getting cheated and maybe you are if you see what I am saying.
i mean… i guess? i suppose i could put in a ticket or something… but 99% that will just be a waste of time and gaijin will be like… nah… thats the normal rate… if you want faster crew exp, buy it.
You have played more games that I have and I have some line ups where I didn’t spend on them. So I am wondering if there is a glitch.
Very hard to tell unless somebody wants to come in with some input based on experience there.
Gaijin are not unfair but incredible tightfisted. A very odd idea of what things are worth.
GE for crew skills is fine if you main certain nations. The gap is far too great. Gaijin need to throw F2P a bone now and then. Good will is everything in business.
well i also have max crew slots, for basically all nations, and i play all nations… so that definitely limits , and spreads out my crew xp, but… still… i have 5,000 in game hours… i should be well past maximum level … and the fact that im not even a third of the way to max level… is ridiculous.
Thank you.
That is simple. Because too many people make claims that turn out to be wrong. So I like to verify it before I believe or communicate it. So thanks for verification.
I found this (incomplete) data too:
Thank god for providing the pictures … I was grinding two days to find it out myself. Now I can stop it.
As long as you unlock expert crew, you can freely grind ace. You don’t need the required crew level, that’s just to buy it. You can see in the last picture I have an aced crew in a level 6 vehicle.
Also, I completely agree that crew XP and ace XP is way too low. For example to earn an ace crew on the A1E1 Independent it’s 320,000 ace XP on a BR 1.3 vehicle.
Thanks, but others did the work already above.
As to the amount of ace XP on the Independant: Premium vehicles do have about double the amount of free vehicles. So this is a “feature” of premiums.
It’s not really double when other 1.3 vehicles have around 80-130k.
Always loved it when I was starting a new country, with new crews and partially moded vehicles, and run into an enemy Marshal at BR 1.7 who has more kills than my entire team. Look up player card and that enemy has well over 100 vehicles for the country they are playing - so it’s obvious they are not starting “fresh”.
Seal-clubbing indeed…
If a competent player plays 1.7, it will be seal clubbing anyway, unless there are no seals. Regardless of crew skill.
I recently hit 5k hours as well. My starting nation is Germany, where I have nearly all planes and tanks spaded and I still don’t have maxxxed out crew level. xD
My SPAA slot is still 9 levels short of 150lvl.
When I start a new nation, I buy crew levels with GE that comes with the premium vehicle.
Think this is the most obsolete and pay to win aspect of the entire game IMO.
Maxing out Aircraft Crew is much much easier than maxing out Ground Crew.
The reward coefficient for Air is much better than Ground, and max air crew level is 75, instead of 150.
On your player card, it says that you have around 2628 hours in-match, which is more understandable why you haven’t gotten a Level 150 crew yet.

I mostly agree with this statement, as you can simply just pay to get marginal (and sometimes even major) advantages over your enemy with the same vehicle. However, once you get the key crew skills, the relevance of the other crew skills decreases dramatically, to the point where a ~100 crew level is similar in capabilities as a level 150 crew level (As long as the 100 crew level crew had gotten the most important ones).
ACE crew can be pretty P2W, especially since you have to get around 1,000,000 RP with a single vehicle to ace it in top tier.
Well of course the in-game experience of a Marshal playing a bunch of new players has a huge impact. The fully trained crew just adds fuel to the fire…
Crew training is just painfully slow. This and the fact that crews are per country is the reason why i have little incentive to play more than one country.
I am referring to my Steam “Hours Played”, which there was a time where i didnt go through steam to play as well, so there is no way that i am only at 2,628 in game hours, i think that site doesnt include some things. Regardless
even if i was at only 2000 (ish) hours, i should be Well above crew level of 45, which is my Highest crew level that i have. It makes Zero sense why it should be so low, or how since i prefer to play Ground RB, i am punished for doing so, by getting extremely nerfed/reduced crew exp. That needs to change.
I mean if it takes X amounts of hours and/or Y amount of exp to reach 150 level on one crew, one shouldnt be surprised if you spread X and Y between all in-game nations.
