My point was that you should not think in terms of only changing one thing, but that the entire game should be reworked because Gaijin has painted it into a corner and is stuck with a game structure that does not reflect its subject matter very well.

Not for this gun- its quite literally the same one as the Strv m/42 EH. Also shooting it in the sides wont work for most tanks around that BR, it has so little pen- assuming you can even get close enough, as it can quite literally be 7.7d.
And this is the biggest crock of bullshit I have ever heard. Gaijn has made it very, very clear that they want balance and not blind adherence to realism, while still keeping it a good simcade- which it is right now.

Correct, and thats why we have what WT is now, which I rather like. The reason why there isnt this “historically accurate battles” that y’all seem to want is because gaijn realizes that within that framework there cant be if they want balance- that is why the BR system is how it is.
WT isnt a historical simulator, it isnt meant to be a mirror of irl situations, it is a game.
