because its a better falcon. both are honestly very overtiered vs the gepard style SPAAs. they arent even that great as tank hunters now the APDS is gone
If Dutch PRTL is coming, it probably means that OF-40 PRTL will come for Italy as well hopefully.
While talking about Romanian Gepard, it would be nice to see their domestic modification with CA-94M missiles.
More props are always nice and I especially love Fireflies!
PS maybe someday you will start adding a multitude missing Italian props, I heard that the introduction of Hungarian planes shouldn’t slow down or let alone prevent their addition, right?
What is the plan for Sweden after the introduction of command guidance? Historically, Sweden has no helicopters capable of carrying Spike ER or similar missiles with mid-flight correction. Are there any plans to give us a Finnish or imported helicopter as a sub-tree to compensate for this gap, or will Swedish helis just be left with standard Hellfires?
After giving it some thought.
Im gonna take a stab in the dark and guess a Jagdtiger SLA. Jagdtiger didnt get a model refresh with the tank variants and the SLA (if it was even ever actually installed in a tiger 2 hull) was more likely to have been fitted into a jagd than a normal non-extended hull for tests. This is a chance to have the model redone while making money out of it
main complaint tiger 2 players have is that its no longer as fast since the HL230 was corrected, this gives gaijin a chance to sell players what it used to be back to them.
as for the ship, idk im sure theres 5 people out there to care but im not one of them.
You misunderstand me. Of course there will come a time when DCT must repeat nations, simply because there are only so many nations in game. What I mean by the assumption of no repeated nations, however, is that nations will repeat only after every nation with at least one viable DCT candidate has received one. Because Japan, Italy, and France have not yet received a DCT vehicle (not sure if Sweden or Israel have any viable candidates), if this assumption holds, USSR would not yet be eligible for another DCT vehicle. Japan, France, and Italy would need to have their “turn” before there are any repeats.
As I have explained multiple times in the DCT Predictions Thread, I believe this to be a reasonable assumption due to DCT’s “special status” among the other events.
sounds fair.
but at the same time DCT is meant to be BIG news for WTs anniversary. unless gaijin gives up and decided to make it a fake vehicle like the O-I i dont see its exclusive spot being used on anything other than the USA, Germans, Russians and by extension the British.
Its got to be weird and wonderful, but also known enough to be a headline grabber even for those not very invested in obscure military vehicles
It’s overdue for the US to get an actually capable SPAA instead of the slop that the NASAMS is…
please bro
Tbh im wondering why patriot hasnt shown up yet to begin with
Well the reason we havent gotten the original is because theyre too lazy to model SARH SAMS as evident with them making up a missile for the BUK-M3
But even then, we shouldve gotten the MEADS PAC-3 MSE or LTMADS whenever the SAMP/T came since the ASTER-30 is equivalent.
“Made up” btw.
It’s literally what would happen.
Sounds like this one on its way to bomb New York with oranges.
Although I would let others have DCT and add to smaller nations more regular stuff instead honestly.
Not having DCT and less vehicle events for minor nations with less options Also means a smaller % of vehicles the tree could get are unobtainable to future players.
The big 3 nations and Britain can afford the hit far better than Italy could
they would be busted in GRB. On small to mediumish maps they can wipe entire spawn areas of SPAA by you just dumping 10 of them with CCRP
Well, when it comes to early props Italy is in a very strong position, there are a lot, I mean a lot of different designs including some weird prototypes to choose from for regular, premium and event.
LTMADS radar with PAC-3 MSE would be magical
Honestly should’ve come with the SAMP/T
(And obviously the Pantsir SM-SV)
How many are famous enough to be a good DCT tho?
Famous is a very subjective word, I didn’t hear about KV-7 for example and encountered Pancake only probably a few times on the forum, but they were in DCT event, anyway, they can be less known than some American or Soviet vehicles outside of Italian community, but War Thunder is a good opportunity to make them more popular.
For example, how many people have ever heard about Italian R3 before War Thunder?
I wonder, how these installations will work, especially between submerged and surfaced.
PS would be wonderful if every nation gets at least one submarine upon the introduction of them, but that would be a miracle.
forgot that was a DCT. was an odd one as it had its onw LTM too, wasnt a traditional DCT to say the least, then again when was the last time russia didnt get special treatment?
ive seen things about the pancake for years and not just on forum. Admittedly a fair chunk was from people bashing World of Warplanes not realising its actually a real plane but it still is quite legendary for being the plane that made flying saucers so big in american pop culture in the late 1940s.
The other two DCTs were the Sturmtiger and TOG 2 which are hugely well known vehicles in and out of the gaming space nowadays just like pancake is.
After the success of NE, i can imagine they may make this years DCT a nuclear bomber to celebrate the renaissance for air battles the mode ended up being, something along the lines of a V bomber or maybe even the B-47.
