eh imo its like 12.7-13.3 arb
sure maybe at like 7.3-8.3 its kinda not great (mostly around when stabilisers and LRFs show up) but other than that i just really dont agree, its just that the game itself changes quite a bit, mostly around heavy tanks becoming less useful and its not like that didnt happen irl around that time

5.7 is like 90% ww2 stuff and 7.3 is like 50% ww2 stuff (very late ww2 stuff that mostly saw most of its usage after ww2 but still)
i brought i 5.7 as a comparison because when i said 7.3 is barely ww2 i meant it mostly from a point of “oh compared to earlier BRs 7.3 is barely ww2”
BR ratings are not historical, but balance.
For a level 100 player you should know that by now.
Also 7.3 its not ww2, but post-ww2/cold war.
Heavy tanks just a part. Like I said, radar SPAAs, SPGs, and some MBTs with powerful cannons and leaserrangefighters/ STABs, everything is going crazy, such as 8.0, we have T54 1951, and then OT-55(STAB), Type59, and Type 69(STAB+ APFSDF+laser range finders)

And 1960s radar SPAA facing WW2 prop planes is not balanced.
id say the chinese t54/55 modifications are probably the most egregious, but the type 69 really isnt that great the heat is a better use of time than the apfsds and tbh the t54s and t55s are just the very epitome of good on paper, pretty average in practice,
its really not that challenging for a lot of 7.3/7.7 vehicles to deal with them in my experience (though to be fair that experience is probably like 75% in vehicles that you would also have a problem with)

At 7.3 theres only jets and no radar spaas. Its at 7.7 when you first see the zsu-37-2 and 8.0 for the rest
i mean the m163 does have a radar, even if its only a tracking radar
So just ask for the j39za to be upper in br. Whats has to do with historical??

I guess the M163, M163 (Japan), and Hovet just aren’t real . . .
And also a very common opinion among people who have played CAS or SPAA at 7.3.
OT-55s is the other one pretty strong, of course, they are just a part of cases, and ZTZ-69’s apfsds is for those long-range targets.
For most of the uptier tanks, they should have some ways to against those downtier tanks, but considering it only has 0.3 BR difference or at the same BR, that doesn’t make sense, we can’t always just ask someone to be more skillful
No radar spaa, not even m163, faces prop planes. Whats the issue??
