sure, but gaijin make those ERA to a whole piece and that means VT4 can only take one shoot, then it will trun back to previous status :(
Some era blocks have different thickness. All FY-4 or FY-2 blocks dont have the same thickness throughout the whole tank.
I’ve heard that there might be different Variants, but the issue is that Gajjin didn’t really specify if they are different or not, they are all labeled as the same ERA
Actually you can check it by yourself. For example you can compare the frontal FY-4 and side FY-4 of a tank and you will clearly see the difference between thickness.

The bug report for merged ERA plates has just been labelled fixed but I don’t see any changes in game.

As it stands now, VT4A1’s performance is still very poor among the top tiers. Since we have a separate community outside of War Thunder, the Chinese community has expressed a lot of dissatisfaction with this tank.This update gives Chinese players a little hope, but it’s obviously not enough.

Update 2.33.0.31 - #59 the last part of the message definitely makes it sound like Gajjin is still scrambling to work on all the bug reports. I just hope that by the end of the month the last few acknowledged reports for the VT-4(reload, spall liners, and detailed ERA) can be put to rest

Is this the spall liner layer of VT-4?
It looks a lot like a fabric. Maybe the whole white layer is spall liner. As you can see the whole white painted layer is uneven. I dont think metal would be that uneven.

It seems like we’ll have to wait for player statistics to be considered first before they change the reload, unless someone wants to make a suggestion page for the reload buff as I really don’t see any good reason for the VT-4 to be held back

I believe both these pics you posted suggest that the MBT-2000 actually has a lot of spall liners around the turret, you should make a report if one hasn’t been made already
