k/d is not an indicator for how good a plane is. personal experience is. And from personal experience one can deduce that the j-10c is competent for 14.3.
for example for k/d not mattering:
My k/d in the j8f is vastly superior to the one in the f-2. Does that mean the j-8f is the better plane? No, of course not. K/d can vastly change depending on match circumstances and opponents.
Jas-39e is simply undertiered and should be 14.3 as well. 2 wrongs don’t make a right

under same personal experience (just played in same person), KD is a good evaluation criteria for the most time. that can reflect a person’s combact style and the player’s skill of course. Under this same combact style from the same person, KD is the impact factor that influnced by the plane
also, of course J8F is the better in 13.0 with fox3s, HMD and decent radar
equipments just matter, just like the example of yours
F2A ADTW (NO FOX3) indeed has a better flight performance, but if there is a J8F lauching you a fox3 at least forced you to dodge meanwhile the fox1 is unlock therefore the J8F can get a better position
Now is the same, sm2, ef2000 (over ±100°) can locking you while they doing 39. more powerful engine, better radar, forcing you countinuing 39. Meanwhile J10C’s radar range (±70°) meaning you have to lose your energy when trying locking them
yeah but their missiles other than su30sm2 don’t turn has hard as pl-12s. amraams you can go notch, turn back in and fire your pl-12. they cannot shoot amraams as off bore as your pl-12s. sure, once you get into a dogfight you lose. But pure missile jousting j-10c wins.
su-30sm2 is straight up second best plane in the game. but its the same br as its older brother the su-30sm. and j-10c is better than su-30sm
of course sm2 is much better, it is useless to compare the current version new added plane to the past version. The now main issue is: China only deserve the out versioned equipments? not only for air also the ground

Its just not about “OK, it is playable, just weaker than the others” it is the attitude Gaijin treating CN tech tree. The fact is J10C is not as good as the other planes they mostly added, and they will be a trend like this.
That’s a fair stance, can’t argue against that. My point was that its serviceable for top tier, definitely not the most “meta” however. I agree.
Yeah, it is serviceable, like the F15C GE, but as you see, these two need and also can get buffed in reality to make the game “fair”.
Nobody will happy if there is full of “meta jets” in combats, but you are just using a “serviceable” one even you’ve got better choice
Highly unlikely that it’ll get the WS10. Gaijin will just add another J10C with the ws10b for another 470k RP as a community manager said that the J10c ingame is the one with the AL31 and NOT the ws10

r27ers are good and all, but overall r771 is still the better missile than it, and the r27er unlock relock trick while notching isn’t as insane as people made it out to be before the patch dropped
How much money did Dassault give Gaijin to make the Rafale a Superman in the game? You have to know that when the Rafale was first introduced to the game, it was completely inferior to the Eurofighter.
This is a horrible idea, this is a solution for nobody. Chinese mains still have the problem of indigenous Chinese vehicles being shafted every update, european mains will complain abt their jets going to every country and being less unique, and the game would get even more stale than it already is. It would be another f/a18c early prem just spammed at every opportunity.

But competent isn’t the word I will use to describe any of the other 14.3 jets (barring the GE). At 14.3, u should be really good, since unlike any other vehicles u will only ever face downtiers, the fact that J-10 is competent says to me that it is not at the same level as the other 14.3s. To me it is barely better than the JAS or the GE, which I do not think is good enough for 14.3. I agree it is competent but I don’t think it is appropriate for a 14.3 to just be competent.
Are you not aware of the massive French and British bug reporting communities? As it turns out the one group that claimed theirs was vastly superior was wrong… and the other that kept themselves humble is reaping the reward and enjoying this time in the game.
