Challenger 3 MBT - Technical Data and Discussion

2E better :P (ignore the fact I’ve got 2 nukes in the 3TD :D)

if 2E get the new mantlet I will try it

In theory all 6 CR2s should get new Mantlet as they’d be C&P. Only one that might not is the CR3 because it uses a different gun.

CR3 need 2F late plate

In game we have the 2019 model, which did not have the add pn plate at the front of the hull. You would need to make a suggestion to add the 2021 model either separately or as a modification to be unlocked on the 2019 one.

Hey guys just posting this around the Various Challenger 2/3 Threads so everyone is aware. Challenger 2 MBT - Technical data and Discussion - #7895 by SwingfireOP

Not sure if this has been reported before but the 1500hp CV12 variant achieved peak HP at 2400rpm, while in-game it’s set to 2300

Current RPM:

Actual RPM:

It would be a very marginal increase of ~1.5kph to the top forward and reverse speeds

I believe the current setting were configured to stop the jumpy gear box causing really bad low speed turning. Now it’s just medium bad.

Yes, but I thought MWIR was Variant 1 and LWIR was variant 2

No, its just variants of the TI, but it still operates on 8-10

well, another difference is the brochure says 8-10 but the catalogue says 8-12

It just operates on smaller range of wavelenghts. Just a adjustment from “universal” product to “specialized”
