G’day lads. Im about to suggest one of China’s options of having a new anti air possessing too many SAM’s, but could still be possibly added, which would be the CASIC FK-3000!

The CASIC FK-3000 is a short-range air defense system developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. It was first showcased at the Airshow China 2022. This system integrates both missiles and guns to provide a comprehensive air defense solution. It is based on an SX2220 6×6 platform, which includes a transporter, erector, launcher, and radar. The FK-3000 is equipped with six large-sized surface-to-air missiles, an automatic 30mm cannon, and 48 smaller surface-to-air missiles (can carry double that if the 6 bigger missiles are replaced with them). It is designed to intercept various targets such as unmanned aerial vehicles, ammunition targets, cruise missiles, and armed helicopters. The system can engage targets at distances ranging from 300 meters to 12 kilometers. It is capable of operating day and night in all weather conditions and is suitable for both wartime and peacetime operations. The FK-3000 is part of a series of air defense systems developed by CASIC, evolving from the FK-1000 and FK-2000 systems.

The FK-3000 air defense system has a rich history that traces back to the earlier models developed by the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The journey began with the FK-1000, which was unveiled at the Zhuhai Air Show in 2016. This system was designed to counter various aerial threats, including aircraft and missiles, and featured a combination of anti-aircraft guns and guided missiles. The FK-1000’s design drew inspiration from the Russian Pantsir-S1 system.
Following the FK-1000, CASIC introduced the FK-2000 to address more advanced threats. This system incorporated improvements in radar and missile technology, enhancing its ability to detect and engage multiple targets simultaneously. The FK-2000 was developed in response to the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other modern aerial threats.
The FK-3000, which made its debut at the Airshow China 2022, represents the latest advancement in this series (as of now ofc, unless at the time of making this (05.11.2024) something new will be shown in the Zhuhai Airshow 2024). The FK-3000 is designed to intercept a wide range of targets, including UAVs, cruise missiles, and armed helicopters, at distances ranging from 300 meters to 12 kilometers.
The development of the FK-3000 was influenced by lessons learned from recent conflicts, such as the use of UAVs and loitering munitions.

1 single tube 30mm cannon, with an effective range up to 4km
6 FK-3000/L missiles with around a 22km range (same as the FK-1000 missiles!)
48 FK-3000/L Micro (98 if the FK-3000/L missiles are replaced) with a 5km range, 600m/s max speed, aswell as being fire and forget (IR guided). Their launcher is 40mm. At first I thought they were called FK-3000/S, but those are too small to be fitted in the launcher from what I can see.
What is kinda weird however that the official banner for it says that it can engage targets up to 12km, so if you have any info, then please share it in the replies :)
Jammers for drones
Also integrates a small phased array radar with four arrays, using millimeter waves to optimize the detection accuracy of low, slow, and small aerial targets. This small phased array radar can simultaneously detect and lock onto hundreds of incoming small aerial targets, with speeds ranging from 2.57 to 411.56 meters per second
Also has the ability to control remote guided vehicles possessing FK-3000/S missiles

There is quite literally no information I can find about its dimensions, so I’ll use the Shaanxi SX2220 6x6 dimensions. The SX2220 has a length of 9m, a width of of 2.5m and a height of 2.6m. It has a 605hp diesel engine, making it go up to 100km/h. Its max weight is 22 tons, but I’m not sure what the exact weight is with the FK-300 system mounted on it.
