What do you do against cas in a british tank at ww2 brs? You cant do anything to a yak9 or a f4u or f6f. You are too slow forward and backward to react. You have only coaxial mg.
Oh off topic, but did you see the book recommendation I tagged to you?
Any verhicle that has open top or just some modified roof to stop schrapnel and bullets are easy prey for CAS.

About the F-4 Corsairs, A book by LCDR Tom Blackburn, he commanded VF-17 in the Pacific its called “The Jolly Rodgers” A very good read, I think I tagged it to you in the “favorite plane/tank thread” as you mentioned you liked the Corsairs.
You shot two low flying helicopters which one is already damage by your teammates and you got lucky shot on SU-9 jet.

I mainly play france 6.0 to 10.0. roof machine guns don’t really exist there. And when they do they barely have any elevation. So you just siggest I dhoot my barely existing mg into the air to alert CAS to my location.

You shoot machinegun into air and everyone in op team include CAS know your position.
not really the cas mains have a totally different play-style
rush cap with a bt5 get enough points and j out (or die)
rush cap with the xm800t get enough points and j out (or die)
or just taking a heli and then spawn a plane
so the argument of CAS mains don’t exists is false

Exactly my point. Unless a plane is actively trying to strafe me in my AML I will not shoot my mg at it. The only tanks I actively do that with are the amx30 series with the coax 20mm because that at least has a high chance to kill as oposed to 7.5mm mgs.
Especially with first spawn helis. You cannot even argue those people are anything but CAS players since they never even bothered to spawn in a ground vehicle at all.

The ironic thing is, the only people you see doing that are SPAA mains.
Because Heli PvE is such a totally not broken game mode where you can realistically grind out helicopters.
There exist suggestions to add helicopters to Air Simulator battles. Support them.
