It’s pretty much the meta low alt dogfighter. It has amazing TWR, third best 20mm in WW2 BRs, and the only planes that outturn it are far slower, e.g Zero.
Yes they get more air kills. because that is pretty much their only option. Thus they should be cheaper like SPAA since they cannot engage tanks and have less available targets

More kills is more kills, ground or air.
In a way but just the pure idea of seeing people in ground battles having 5+ air kills is insane in and of itself. I spaded the La-7 by purely playing CAP and getting 3-6 kills on average per game.
The amount of second spawn planes i just too high. You kill a CAS plane and he immediately respawns in another plane. Often you could get 5+ kills and you just killed 3 different people twice.
My main point being air kills don’t really negatively impact the whole match. A plane coming in and clearing a whole flank however does. Just on that alone CAP should be cheaper.

CAS positively effects the game because it’s a hard counter to campers. 9 times outta 10, if som1 tries to bomb me while Im moving, I’ll survive with little to no damage. The only time CAS is actually a concern to me is when I’m spawncamping.
The amount of second spawn planes was never a problem. Seeing som1 get enough SP for two CAS planes in a row is extremely rare, and I know this because there’s still an ARB battle in every other GRB battle.
Either way, CAP is far more powerful, and gets more kills than CAS, hence should be the same price.

What actually did you want enemy team to do here aside from strafe me? Perfect view of enemy spawn with 90% of my tank covered, and somehow not even in detection zone. “Just spawn a tank” they tried to approach me to destroy me 3x and failed. CAS is the only thing that actually balanced the scales in that scenario.
CAS haters complain about planes changing the course of a battle, but a SINGLE GUY making the most popular spawn point inaccessible is perfectly fine? That’s considered balanced?
Seriously look at the second image, spot my tank, and say that’s 100% balanced for tank v.s tank combat and no planes are needed.

Nope.
You were using a flak gun, a vehicle that can get the gunner killed by MG that tanks can use, not to mention a single HE that could hit You. People actually need to learn from not being able to kill such easy targets, they don’t need an “auto win” like air as it is just lazy.

Correction: you just want to spawncamp in OP spots unimpeded, and hence want everything that can actually counter you (namely CAS) to be nerfed or removed.
Correction:
You can’t play ground units and learn how to counter enemies that use brain thus You want something they can’t fight against because without that, You wouldn’t be able to do much.

Ironically, the “nerf” to CAS only made revenge bombing and camper killing even more prevelant than b4, so gj.
It always amazes me:
- Be against TO
- Get told that without TO, there are going to be nerfs/buffs that no one asks for
- Still be against TO
- Nerfs/Buffs come
- Be angry
It is just a cycle that never ends.
The best part is when people claim that people having problem on forum with CAS are minority to later say that because of people having problem with CAS on forum, gaijin made a change.
