Can we stop throwing bones to air abusers in ground realistic?

I only experienced Ghost Shells when my PL% spikes or Ping goes high that it messes up my shot and never fired it even though it fired. Gaijin been tryna fix this but it’s more on the communication between my PC to the server then back to my PC. Information gets lost on the way sometimes. Graphic cards are constantly being worked on so no issues there, if so, just bug report so Gaijin can be aware of it.

hol up theres no flanking in the game the maps are small thats why CAS is an issue

this is why most people go to the edge of the map to be the flankers and to automatically counter flank have you played GRB recently?

EDIT to specify i wouldnt call it flanking given it might aswell be apart of the play style for most

If the issue is on Gaijin said, should’t it be looked at despite only few players having problem with it?

I am well versed in RB GFs and familiar with the “anti-flanker” approach (I regularly play it). I was referring to another flank–the aerial flank.

There is an entire half of the battlefield above, so naturally a team will want at least some coverage (SPAAs, fighters, etc) to deal with it…if they don’t getting flanked from above is not a surprise.

While it is possible to ignore the skies and go on about your day harmlessly, you do roll the dice when you ignore your surroundings in that manner.

They are not ignoring it, there was a time where Ghost Shells been out of control and they managed to fix it after many updates. Now happens less often. Our poor connection to internet also part of the reason ghost shells happen, it goes both ways. Sometimes internet hiccups happen too. Cant cure this 100%

I’m trying to compare something that didn’t happen for a lot of people (aka ghost shells) to You saying that the said situation from the video didn’t happen to You a lot.

That is why I have asked a question about if You think that this issues (like ghost shells) should be overlooked or taken care of (as they didn’t happen for majority of people like the situation from the video didn’t happen to You).

Anywho, my 16 Na-To games is plenty to show what you do rarely happens, if It happens to me that 1 game out of many, im not going to come cry here. It was just unlucky in my end to happen to me.

fair enough im not even here cuz im bothered by CAS much its just a symptom of a larger issue despite me have 10k tank deaths 80% atleast by enemy planes im just kinda letdown that gaijin and the community (i think) build awesome looking maps and were stuck goin into a metal grinder every…single match

and its not good for higher tiers ive seen team get wiped within about 5 mins and i have 0 rp made no kills assists deaths etc lol

Given that the average death rate of tanks sits at around 8-10%, that seems a tad much. Are you sure it’s like that?

I’d imagine someone would have to be provoking the enemy team to get jumped like that…

lol atleast 800 deaths in GAB with t54 1947 were by revenge bombers alone

Doesn’t AB have a super long time fuse with tanks that have buffed up speed and mobility? I escaped from a couple bombs cuz someone forgot to lower the fuse timer from 3 seconds to 1 second or 1.5 in RB.

i probably have the same amount of time in GRB now its a easier mode no tags or real time pen markers

sometimes i let them get the kills sometimes not paying attention sometimes i was disabled etc but it was usually planes i wish gaijin would separate killed by plane and tank plus idk why but im still stuck 13,564 kills since i came back in oct 2022 hasnt updated i think that whole stat bar is mostly off

Edit mind you this is when the t54 1947 along with the maus were pretty much top dogs in the game before heatfs etc was everywhere

I did explain my beef is with cas being too easily achieved for no achievement at all 🥲 how a guy in a light tank can have no more than 60 points to his score by taking a hit and dying, and somehow still end up with a plane with HMG’s, thats plenty to bore through the roofs of 80% if the tanks on the field.

I understand. Im hurting your valued gamemode. Shooting fish in a barrel. Yes… But be not afraid. Im just looking for a better balance in the ability to get CAS. I know cas is sometimes neccesary. Whenever a plane is up and asking for a bomb target, its easy to tell it to bomb A. Or B. Just to see it crash land and drop its bombs on a vengeance target. Quite the tactical move, im sure.

I want no achievement on the ground equal no ability to fly. You die? You lose your privilege to fly. Why would dying without achieving anything be rewarded in the first place?

Holy shit reading these petty insults is hurting my head.

If people say they want TO, you don’t have to have a seizure and start insulting people. Same thing regards if a player says they enjoy CAS in ground RB.

The whole point of adding TO is so BOTH modes can exist at the same time, and those who want to play GRB with CAS involved can simply select GRB, while those who want purely ground vehicle vs ground vehicle gameplay can select TO.

Gather yourselves together and quit this mindmelding amount of mental gymnastics for why you hate someone else’s suggestion, and go contribute to one of the actually meaningful discussions on the forum.

Cut the crap before this thread gets closed.

Um…crashing an airplane that costs 480+ SP to kill some <260 SP GFs foe means a loss for the airplane.

Suicide bombers are ridiculed because even in “success” they have still lost–any results achieved are pyrrhic.

Players are given 450 SP at match start…initial GF costs are ~50-160 SP. Subsequent spawns generally cost no more than ~200 SP.

It’s possible to respawn (even multiple times) with any successes…do you want to adjust that too?

Adjusting this would be like returning SP costs to where they were before the 2017 shift.
