Isnt the P-38G just a P-38E with bombs?

If you’re in an aircraft that can’t turn, don’t turn fight. Climb higher and only engage enemies that have less energy and altitude than you. If you have more energy than another aircraft, you can climb back up to the point where they’ll stall trying to follow you or you can outrun them. Did this with the P-47D-28 and Its one of the only U.S props I have a positive K/D with.

It climbs at 20m/s at any alt, and past 5000 it becomes a beast of a prop, no one will fly better than a P-47 at high alt, and at low alt its not bad either
Thats also not true, its another beast at high alt with really good maneuverability and will turn tighter than spits with landing flaps (for just one turn), but its far far from being a bad plane
welp 70% of USSR prop can’t turn very well except those Yak and Biplanes. All they got is Speed.

The only ‘flaw’ there is to the P-36G is that it is single-purposed and lacks bomb capability. Other than that, it’s a superb little aircraft. The other P-36s aren’t bad either and the French Hawks fly well…but have lousy armament.
To the thread at large: a player having issues with US aircraft is not unusual. The US tree is trickier than most at its start, but the aircraft had are solid–US aircraft just require more nuance than other trees’ aircraft that singularly focus on turning performance or wiping someone out instantly with a big cannon.
My Point was not whether or not it is good at BnZ it is how the tactic was not created when the buffalo was in service, it was not designed with that tactic in mind
No reasonably person will dogfight you at 15,000 ft. They’re gonna bring the fight lower or just disengage.
Then they are dead, you can just BnZ everyone
