F-14A tested the VTAS system, theoretically all F14s were ready and able to equip it. You can check the other digital combat (s) game forum, there’s plenty of documentation there.

So, please then enlighten me, at the top of your vast knowledge of:
6 matches with the F-14D in simulator (2 wins)
0 maches with 12.7 F18s
someone was to busy to stat check to actually read
but while you are at it you can check in statshark on which days i played the f14d and then you might find out that i never played it at 12.7 but rather at 13.0 or 13.3 days

the aim-9m - Definetly good
a better radar - yet with a obscene 2-4 seconds refresh rate
an IRST - that is unusable, since it has an effective range of 10 km while its IRL counterpart had up to 100 km of detection
ARH missiles - which are unusable, and vastly nerfed, as proven by the dedicated AIM-54 thread
BOL pods - definetly good, yet, countermeasures are underpowered in the current game build.
Anything that is fast, nimble and smaller is better than a gigantic F-14 in the current multipath meta.
Even more so when the plane’s main strenght, the ARH Phoenixes, are unplayable.
You edited you message, try harder if you want to counterargument, even more so when strawmanning.
the only thing that you said are useless are things that the hornet is lacking and if you cant see how the f14d is literal p2w then you might want to start playing planes that arent known to be really good
