FIX HMD alignment in VR!! I will not spend a single GE on this game anymore before this is fixed.
Also please fix the reflections in the HUD of the F-4’s, that is borderline unplayable in first person. ALL the F-4’s… Such a shame for such an iconic aircraft
Also we should have an RWR page on the MFD’s of the F/A-18
doesnt it have its own dedicated rwr instrument below the rightmost mfd?
Yes, but IRL it can put the RWR (also) on the MFD and that’s much clearer and visible. The RWR instrument is small, barely readable, especially in VR. It prevents me from flying without the in-game overlay in VR. It should be able to put the RWR on the MFD as that’s historically accurate.
The F/A-18’s are missing several important MFD pages: HUD, ADI, RWR - and the HSI (Map) is too oversimplified like all map displays in WT. IRL it would even have the possibility to show sensor data etc.
I’m working on a big report on this topic, hopefully got all togetherbefore end of this week.
Is the report just for the F/A-18’s or like for MFD pages in general? Either way post it here and I’ll add it to the last. (At this point though I doubt much will come of it, we was going to hear back from @tronexer but that was 4 months ago)
Could you add the bug that the targeting pod won’t slave to the GMTI (ground-target) radar mode of the F/A-18? Maybe not strictly HUD/MFD related, but still game-play (mainly for SIM) related.
There is a bug with the F/A-18 in VR (and maybe also on 2D), where if you lock a target with the targeting pod, a green circle appears. This circle is not part of the HUD but its in dark green or the color of the overlay that also does the RWR and radar, and its also misaligned (same misalignment as HMD’s have). This circle shouldn’t be there in the first place as its probably the laser indicator of the targeting pod
Quick question, does the F-15/F-16/F-18 and Eurofighter HMD are the only one with a fonctional designation marker ? I knew the Scorpion isn’t working but when playing the Tornado Gr4 yesterday I noticed the designator on the HMD isn’t at the right place.
